Ya thats interesting, that Blake would rest his players. Unusual for the era, as in Toronto, Detroit or elsewhere, you played, through injury or exhaustion and if you didnt, sent down or suspended. Didnt matter who you were. Frank Mahovlich & Brewer in Toronto two classic examples of being over-worked & burned out, rest required. And God forbid you should wind up in Springfield under Shore.
