Jonathan Toews getting carried to his second cup! Mr. Clutch!

Go Blackhawks though!

And that my friends is what's wrong with NHL hockey today. There's no way you make that play happen. That was a triple or quadruple deflection. Basically 100% random. That's not sports, that's gambling.

I don't really even care who wins. It's a pick your poison SCF for me (just like the Vancouver - Boston series).
A puke like Shaw had to score the winner though...
At least it wasn't Toews.

Boston didn't deserve to win after whiffing on those open nets

Well, the first deflection was a beautiful one and one that skillful players can make.

The second one was simply a player heading to the net at the correct angle.

Yep. Drive the net and good things happen. Luck will always play a factor in these types of sports. If you don't like it, then you should watch table tennis or bowling or something.

Daugavins had a clean one-timer into an empty net.

No Post Game show? I guess there really is only one coast and that's the East. How can you not have a post game show after that.

Edit: Guess it's on NBC Sports Network.

Was also not a fan of "let them play" ... terrible stuff. "look at the effort by hjalmarsson(?)" .. yeah, to trip daugavins.

Overtime is boring cause there's way too much obstruction

You already knew the goal was going to happen on a flukey play.

Goalie pads actually do have something to do with this

Right. Because I am generally much more entertained by a regular season game...

If Toews wins a cup here, I think it will actually add to his ridiculous "clutch" reputation... :

1 goal in 18 games. His value is "unmeasurable".

Hawks' Patrick Sharp had more shots on goal in 1st period (6) than Bruins had shot attempts (5). #StanleyCup

(Hawks lead 1-0 at first intermission)

If Chicago wins, it's a good thing Crawford isn't a FA or DW will offersheet Leddy and then sign Crawford as a FA

DW will be on the lookout for a 4th liner or a 7th defense man from the S.C. winner to make an offer for....

Btw, Handzus has retaken the lead in his points race with Toews 10-9. Yet Toews will probably get the majority of the credit if the Hawks wins because of his intangibles and leadership abilities.

Marchand goes harder in the paint than Waka Flaka.

Wilson only gets useless players off of Cup winners so Peverley, Daugavins, Thornton or Jagr if Boston wins, Carcillo or Bollig if Chicago wins.
