Seems that Boston is still able to play great as a team defensively compared to Hawks. Julien has a freakin tight system to say the least. Always some pressure towards the opponent forwards.

Knew Rask was an awesome goalie...top 5 in the league for sure...I could even put him top 3. But Crawford is making me eat some crow. Really impressive so far.

Boston deserved that one. Hawks need to take one in Boston.

The way that series is going....each team deserved 1 win. Though...you don't always get what you deserve...

Paille and Kelly.....the 2013 version of Maltby-Draper. Incredible how those 2 guys developed so well in Boston.

Yeah, looks like Chicago blew their load early on. Seemed just a matter of time for Boston in OT.

Should have been over in regulation. Hawks got hosed on that call!

Kelly was a great defensive player in Ottawa as well. Not surprised with his play.

Surely they did. But they are more opportunistic or face somebody else than Rask and it's over in the 1st.

Really wondering how it will turn out in Boston. Boston gets their win....and will surely have the momentum now. Though momentum can change quite fast.

But he's even better now. With a defensive system made for him.

**** the NHL and the stories they make up for disallowing real goals or allowing goals that should never count. They have completely changed games with their inept/corrupt officiating.
Starting to think they are doing the same thing that was going on in European soccer.

They aren't a great team. Great teams don't need to be handed games. Once again they were handed a game by the refs. That's bad.

Come on....be real here. We see those dissalowed goals happen often. Bruins are playing great defensive hockey with some timely goals. And unfortunately, we will see how great they are as they were an incredibly tough opponent in Chicago and I believe Bruins will do better in Boston....

I want to lend Subban to Hawks. Keith has a good shot from the point but hasn't used it/been able to use it.

Hawks need that but are getting weak attempts that are blockable. Need Norris-winning slapper.

Seabrook, not good enough and please, put Stahlberg back in. As for Kane, he would get ripped for being so soft if he were a Hab. He tries to be opportunistic and I'd bet his endurance is very low. As opposed to Sharp, Toews, Hossa who give 100% hustle AND who can deke a bunch of players and score. Kane needs to start creating his own chances.

That was such a bs call on the disallowed goal though. Technically fair, but what a stupid rule. Just cuz the ref is unable to see the puck (nobody even near Rask, so no reason to even blow the whistle quickly) he "attempts" to blow it. Well, he blew it.

Well the rules are the rules right now. But I agree that "intent to blow" shouldn't be there. Only the whistle should count. Between your intent and the actual whistle has to be at best 1 or 2 seconds. And if a ref don't stop the play right away it's because he thinks it's free....1 or 2 seconds shouldn't change his call. Just go with the freakin whistle and live with it. Much easier to judge if it's good or not. 'Cause then you are giving judgement to the referees and WE DON'T WANT THAT...
