Impact always seem to have a terrible first 10-15 mins during away games. They need to fix this. Sometimes they are able to fumble their way through but most of the time they end up giving up a goal. I would of thought that having an experienced back 4 would help this but it seems to keep happening. They really need to fix this if they want to do anything in the playoffs or champs league.

The team looked way better yesterday with Wenger and Mapp (even if Wenger couldn't finish). When Paponi and Pisanu came in, they couldn't create any scoring chance. Well, there was one but Paponi couldn't hit the ball.

Iachipino had some good moments and then, 2 seconds after, would be terribad lol. He had a bad game overall as Warner. I'd really like to see Smith start the game vs Houston!

Forgive my ignorance, but why do we see a country like Uruguay over Argentina at the fed cup??

Because Uruguay won the Copa America, the South American version of the European Championships.

Argentina are the Masters for collapsing in the big tournaments. They're always one of the favorites in the WC or Copa America but they just cant seem to focus on their game to win it. They always do well in the qualifications but choke in the big tournaments. But they surely would have done better than Uruguay today.

it's 2-1 Spain, i wouldn't call that getting whipped. Also the first Spain goal was really flukey.

Uruguay got whipped. The game was never close even with Suarez making it a one goal game. Spain completely dominated them.

Are you blaming a team to get dominated by Spain? It's Spain FFS. There's not a lot of teams that can play with them.

Of course Spain played incredible once again but you would have hoped for a better opposition, especially from a team that won the Copa America..

Uruguay was a great team when they won the Copa America and deserved to win. They were coming off a 4th place finish in the World Cup and were playing really well. They have been struggling for awhile now.

Not sure why you think Argentina would have been better competition. What have they done lately?

1st in South America World cup qualifiers?

Argentina have easily the better team than Uruguay. Tey have big holes on defense but Messi-Higuain-Aguero is easily the best offense in the world.

I seriously blame wenger for the defeat 2 completely clear breakaways wasted... if he put 1 in its a whole new game. He did a mimic of nyassi in his worst days.

I don't think so. There is no way you could say they are easily the best offense. Suarez and Cavani are great offensive talents as well.

I don't but but at least Wenger didn't let the other team take the ball for a goal like Warner did. That was pathetic.

Wenger is a good guy so it sucks that things are not working out for you guys. He was a defender in college as well so any chance he moves there next year when Nesta leaves?

Seriously man, any team with Messi instantly becomes the best in the World. Argentina often play with 3 attackers: Messi, Higuain and Aguero. Cavani and Suarez are great, but This is by far the best offensive line in the World. Heck you even have Lavezzi and Tevez as other options. Even though Tevez hasn't been selected in the Argentinian squad since a while now but I believe he'll be in the WC.

I hope so. Wenger is a good hustler with a good shot but he doesnt have the instinct of a finisher, he has terrible control, and the worse that kills me whenever I watch him play, is that he always slows down the ball when he's in a comfortable position, specially on breakaways or one-on-one, which clearly shows lack of confidence in his ability. That's a huge weakness for a striker. I don't this he's got what it takes to be a top striker. Would either keep his as a backup striker, or try him on defense.
