Get over yourself people and if you want to fight, do it in a PM not in the game thread.

4-3 Habs

He could. He has been called out by Aebischer for the nets, we'll see how he does.

I don't think goalies will be a factor, I think tonight could very well be very ugly for defenses and goalies on both sides.

Ottawa is mad... they'll be on fire and rack up some points against a shaky Huet...
But Emery will suck big time... and welcome to the Kovy show (you know what happens when he gets back from injury)!

Kovy (2), Ryder, Higgins, Perez, Markov

Habs prevail 6-5...

We've got better stats than them all over according to the Canadiens.com preview.

It's early though.

I expect Huet to have a killer game and keep the goalie competition high... I also predict that Latendresse will score his 1st carrer NHL goal tonight in front of the home-crowd fans .

Man, I don't know about tonights game. I am kinda nervous about it

Things that tell me that Habs will win:

- Sens lack of scoring (so far)
- Gerber has been shaky, Emery is not consistant
- Habs great start
- Huet will want to prove himself

Things that tell me Habs will lose:

- first home game after road trip are always tough
- Sens will play desperate hockey
- Sens record vs Habs

My guess: Ott wins in OT 3:2

Higgins, Kovalev
Spezza, Heater, Alfie (in OT)

We mustn't lose sight of Ottawa's potential explosiveness even though they haven't unleashed it yet. The Sens are capable of drubbing the Habs, especially if Huet has a poor game. I hope the Habs play a solid, opportunistic game.

Early season results can be misleading.....beware the injured tiger....
That said I hope the team puts on a show tonight for the fans, if the second line ever gels like the first line, well...

I hate being pessimist but we're going to lose tonight imo...

Sens are hungry...and will give their 100%. 5-3 sens I say.

Fischer (2), Scheafer, Spezza, Heatley

Ryder, Higgins, Johnson

The boys will be motivated by the roaring home crowd.

Montreal 4, Ottawa 1.

Koivu, Kovalev, Bonk, Higgins.
Heatley.

Also, minor correction to the GDT. Ottawa's record is correctly listed as 1-3-0, but it says 1 point when they in fact have 2.

This may have already been asked, but is the game going to be aired on SRC outside of Quebec?

You guys should really at least send threatening emails to the Bell Centre to play the goal song again. U2 can go down the toilet.

No. SRC isn't showing Habs games anymore. I have to watch it tonight on Centre Ice.
