Top 10 players at every position

I see a lot of people in polls saying "player X isnt even in the top 10". I would like to see everyones opinion on who is in the top 10 at each position in the NHL. Not just for this season but not career wise. Lets say for the past 2 or 3 seasons.

Tavares is not better than Toews or Datsyuk. And it's not really that close.

Agree on everything on your list except for bolded part. IMO, Kessel is better than Hossa, Perry and Nash.

Don't forget Sam Gagner. Apparently he's a number one centre nowadays.

Dont really understand how price can not be in some of youre lists, yet you mention anderson and bobrovsky who are good goalies, but not on the level of price. Im guessing a bad playoffs and 5 regular season games really makes or breaks a player on this board.

I'm solidly on the record as being ridiculously critical of Rick Nash. I hated the trade when it was rumored, hated it more when it happened, and hated what it did to the team this year. That said, Taylor Hall has a LONG way to go before he's even in the conversation with guys like Nash. That's not a knock on Hall. He's 21 years old, and he has plenty of time to get there. He's not there yet.

I am highly amused at the complete absence of Marian Gaborik, however. Yes, he had a bit of a down year (not even a bad year. Just a down one). He still has two 40+ goal seasons in the last 4 years. Bumping him out of the top 5 because of this year? Okay, I see that. Consistently bumping him out of the top ten? That's just absurd.

Bobrovsky won a freakin vezina and almost carried his team towards the playoffs. Something, Price hasn't done yet.

Hey there moron, not just any #1 centre but top ten in the league ! Cause I "heard" (not made it up) an oiler fan say it. -Atomos2

He's not anywhere near top ten, although I like him.

Back on topic I'm liking a lot of these lists, ovechkin is for sure the #1 winger in the NHL.
