It really was. I did enjoythe part where he continued to rail against China even after it was pointed out his clothes are made there.

And you'd think this idiot woulde have a better vocabulary.

Am in Disney for the week with GF and her full family (3 other family units). A joint celebration of several milestone birthdays / reunion since 2010 / and it's been their mutual default vacation spot for 25 years.
Stewie not with us as he lost privilege to go over last couple months).
Arrived Saturday.

Don't know what will be more difficult:
1. Taking a full week off work, and no "work from home".
2. Relaxing for a full week. It's very hard for me to sit still.
3. Not wishing I was retired so I can do things like this more often.
A real paradox.

Good to know. I'll talk to the hiring manager and see what the status of the job is!

World's slowest OT thread. Not at all comparable to a PK thread.

Sunday's gravel extravaganza has caught up to me -- connective tissue soreness throughout my ribs. Ouch.

I also start my next running class today. 10K in August is the goal distance.

Everything is set up for the lady's birthday today. She'll be surprised with the dresses at 3pm which gives the designer enough time to make any necessary alterations. The car is picking me up at 5:30 to get her at 6:15 for a 7pm reservation. At dinner I'll give her the earrings as I wanted something nice but a neutral gift.

Got a copy of Neil Gaiman's new book a day early.

It's the best he's ever written. And it's out now. Hit up the library if they've got copies.

I'm excited for this one. I'll grab the audiobook and go through it at some point.

My son has a summer reading list I believe.

We went to the award ceremony at the school today because he received a Presidential academic award.

He's a really well rounded kid and I couldn't be more proud.

We now have the next 1.5 months to ramp up for his Black Belt testing.

Beyond just summer reading, he picked out math and history things too. Reading is never an issue, thankfully.

Good luck on the black belt testing. We are looking in the finances for full tuition of both right now since they enjoyed it so.

Yeah with him transitioning to middle school there wasn't anything other than the reading.

Thanks. Yeah it'll be a fun yet busy 1.5 months. He already does 6 to 7 of the 11 classes available to him. I can easily see that going up to 8 to 9. Especially come mid July.

And if I recall correctly they just dropped their family rates. It used to be where you paid full tuition for the first student and then a reduced rate for the second but now it's one base price for 2. Which is less than what the 2 added up to prior. I don't recall the exact rate but can get it if you like.

Also one of his less memorable creations back into the limelight, inexplicably:
