I can live with that.

Big question is will he sign?

EDIT: NVM, should have read the article.

Really jazzed about this.

Could be the pest we are looking for. Decent size and hands. Now the question is, can he win faceoffs?

The answer, as I understand it, is yes, with a college career percentage of 58%.

Led the nation last year winning 60%. I think he'll get the hang of it at the pro level.

Good trade, fair for both sides IMO.

Hopefully he can come in and play a big role for us next year.

How is his speed?

Feaster did a very good job in a trade.. This is so new, I'm not sure how to feel.
Great move, now get a contract confirmed signed and I will be one happy fan.

Really good get for the Flames. Knight is a great player on the ice and a great person overall.

So I guess we have to wait until July 1st to sign this guy? I think they'll announce the framework of an agreement soon, though, kind of like with Streit.

I'm okay with giving up a 4th. Doubtful we would have gotten anybody as good as Knight with that pick.

We have a solid collection of college players, without doing any research whatsoever, I would imagine we have among the best group in the league, if not the best.

We trade Iginla and then finally acquire a true number 1 center. Thanks Obama.

The Flames need young Centers from 1st line to 4th line so I like this deal and he has some size to boot

I like this description from Hockey Futures
"Simply put, Knight is a pest and the type of player that opponents hate to line up against."

Flames need more of that especially down the middle.

Now add a center with out 1st pick in the draft and our C prospect depth will finally start to look semi respectable
Would love to move up to get Mackinnon or Barkov but worse case scenario we get Lindholm or Monahan which is still sweet in my opinion

I don't think Knight is a number 1 center if that's what you are referring. He may not even be a number 2. I would say a very good and useful number 3 who can provide offense as well.

Good depth signing, I see him being our third line RW for a long time. A line of Hanowski-Reinhart-Knight should be a very responsible third line for many years. Great on the dot, and has decent size. Really nothing to mad about here boys!

I'm still waiting for someone to claim that Feaster should have gotten Knight for a fifth, regardless of whether or not Florida was willing to accept the deal.

I went to sleep hoping we'd trade for his rights and now it has happened!

Hope he signs!
