We won't buy him out ? Is his buyout less than Lou's since Bryz got so much $$$ up front. Maybe a swap to save Nucks some cash and let us decide next yr what to do with Lou ? Nucks buyout Bryz instead of Lou

Welp, this is our personal hell. We've dealt with this clown for two years and finally get our hopes up that he's going to be bought out and we might get Bernier. We'll finally have a great young goaltending duo! Nope. **** us, right?

So management is split on buying out Bryz. I wonder who's pro-Bryz and anti-Bryz.

I'll believe it when the buyout period ends and he is still a flyer

I agree with you guys, I think it's just a little game being played. Bryz can't hang around for another year.

Snider should lower the beer prices at the games if we have to deal with this clown again next year.

I believe Mackenzie way more than I believe anything Homer tells a player or agent. If Bob says he's gone... he's gone!!

The latest excuse for Bryz was he played too many games via his agent quoting Homer. First it was he needed more games to get in a groove now he played to much. He just flat out sucks. Whoever is the pro-Bryz crowd in management needs to ****ing get over it and buy him out.

It might not be pro-Bryzgalov as much as Snider being pro-money and pro-ego.

Well they can't buy him out yet and are rumored to be negotiating a trade for another goalie.

Do you think the Flyers announcing or confirming a Bryz buyout would help or hurt them in the negotiating process?

Has Snider ever said yes or no to a deal based on money?

It's probably posturing... taking some heat off of the Bernier trade talks and saying "we don't want to overpay, we aren't desperate" ... if the Kings really want to trade Bernier I'm sure they'd settle for a reasonable deal and I don't think many teams around the league would pay what the Flyers would be willing to pay other than Calgary/Edmonton but I doubt the Kings want to see Bernier within their division. Likely why to Philly makes so much sense.

They wouldn't buy out Bryzgalov with another goaltender in place. It's a big decision in so many ways. You'd think they would have a list, likely something like a) Bernier b) Emery c) Mike Smith? ... I know the Flyers were very interested in Bernier, Bishop and then finally Mason for cheap at the deadline. Asking price for Bernier is probably very high right now.

All I know is, Bryzgalov better be gone.

Good on Holmgren for finding his poker face, if this is what it is.

Maybe Comcast is sick of the Flyers wasting money on buyouts, injured players, and burying players in the minors.

He strikes me more of a Russian Roulette type of guy.

Except he gets confused and only takes 1 bullet out instead of leaving only 1 in.

I'm sure Snider is standing behind him, wearing glasses with one dark lens.

That or he's slapping the **** out of him screaming "MOW" or whatever.

As others have said I think this is just posturing and Bryz is bought out. I then expect Homer to use some of that cap space on a one yr deal on a player from over seas or something (Emery, Jagr, Zherdev).
