This is the First mock I've done in a couple Years. I've spent time on it and tried to address needs, but sometimes BPA is just too good to pass on. Enjoy!
-Col-Nate Mackinnon. Franchise Center. Jones is tempting but Mackinnon is so good. The Depth of centers Col had allows them to move a player like Statsny who would be attractive to teams looking for a number one Center.
-FLA-Seth Jones. Number one Defenceman, Florida has alot of areas of need but Jones will help shore up their backend as well as help their transition game
-TB-Alex Barkov. Is physically ready to step into the NHL. Allows TB to buyout or trade Lecavalier.
-Nas-Jonathan Drouin. Elite Winger slides to 4th, Nash adds elite goal scorer, a major organizational need.
-Car-Valeri Nikushkin. Car adds the big Russian, one of the most talented since Malkin and Ovechkin
-Cal-Sean Monahan-Building block for a struggling franchise, Monahan oozes leadership.
-Edm-Darnell Nurse. After drafting forwards at number one overall for three straight years, the Oil will look to address holes on their blueline.
-Buf-Rasmus Ristolainen.-The Sabres need to re-tool, and Ristolainen is very close to nhl ready
-NJ-Elias Lindholm-BPA. Played well in Swedens top league, could be close to NHL ready
-Dal-Hunter Shinkaruk Elite Offensive numbers will likely move to wing at the NHL level.
-Phi-Ryan Pulock- Philly has all the makings of a elite team but they need to address needs in Goal and on the backend. Check one off the wish list
-Pho-Max Domi- Pho is in deperate need of high end talent Domi could step in in a year and be a force
-Wpg-Bo Horvat- His strong two way game is too much to let pass by.
-Clb-Alex Wennberg- The Speedy Wennberg needs some time but long term could be a real nice pickup
-NYI-Curtis Lazar- BPA and will slot in nicely as the number two center behind Tavares
-Buf-Fredrick Gauthier- The Big Center addresses a need for size up front
-Ott-Nikita Zadorov- A big Blueliner to compliment a strong group of offensive d man
-Det-Valentine Zykov- Det is never afraid to draft a Russian. Solid Pickup but
needs some time. something Det always gives its prospects.
-CLB-(Via NYR) Anthony Mantha- High Scoring winger needs to get stronger but has the frame for a solid scoring power forward ala Rick Nash
-SJ-Kerby Rychel- The Budding power-forward will bring a physical element to San Joses forward core.
-Tor-Morgan Klimchuk-This could be a sleeper pick, Klimchuk needs a couple years, but he has very high hockey IQ and is a coaches dream, does all the little things right.
-Cal(Via STL) Josh Morrisey Elite skating defender should develop into a solid PP QB but needs time to get bigger and stronger
-Was-Mirco Mueller- Steady blueliner will help a offensive team keep the puck out of its own net
-Van-Ryan Hartman- Feisty forward should help the Canucks, but their window might be passed, could see a minor retool over the next year or so
-Mon-Samuel Morin- Big Bruising defender compliments the speed of the Habs
-Ana-Andre Burakosky- another piece to the ducks. They will have an embarrassment of riches at forward in a few years
-CLB(Via LA) Chris Bigras- Solid Two way game. the Jackets will let him develop but could fit in well with Murray in a couple years
-Cal(Via Pit)-Zack Fucale. Franchise goalie needs some time but will be a solid goalie for the flames down the road
-Dal(via Bos)-Adam Erne- Highly skilled forward adds another piece to a rebuilding Stars squad
-Chi-Jason Dickenson- Another sleeper pick could be a real solid pickup by the Hawks
