Buying Hawks tickers

I am planning on hitting a few NHL cities for watching games on my vacation next month. I want to know how hard is it to get tickets to Hawks games on gameday or from scalpers?

Not at all. If you have a school id you can get a seat for $8. Show up about a hour before puck drop, and unless its a Hawk-Wing game you shouldn't have any issues at all.

It will be no problem what-so-ever.

Opening night was a decent crowd (18k) and it still left 7K seats empty.

While the cheap seats are really cheap (10 bucks, 8 with student ID) they are all in the 300 level. I want to say that first row, 300 level go for 45 bucks.

That's right , But for baskeball games with the smaller playing surface an additional 4,000 seats become available.

Too bad I no longer have my student ID. Oh well, ticket prices are pretty reasonable from the sounds of it. This should be fun.

According to NHL.com, tonight's attendance was just over 8,000.

Shouldn't be a problem lol

How are the mid-tier seats? $65 tickets specifically. I had the $80 seats last year, but I wasn't buying. Is the $65 worth it or should I save a few bucks and go upper tier? ($45)

I went to a game last season and the usher checked tickets on EVERYBODY. If you go to the loo, they check your ticket when you come back. We had the $80 seats, but I'd guess they do it everywhere.

There's not a bad seat in the building. It's a very well built arena.
