He got hurt by just running into someone right?? It wasn't a 'knee' or anything?

He was looking back to get a pass and was hit low by Patrice Bergeron. Not really dirty, but not squeaky clean either.

Good.

Not good, as in he's in pain and stuff... but good, he won't bug the Leafs for a while.

Hopefully he gets better though.

In other words, no, he didn't "Tucker" someone. :p

(disclaimer: The above response is strictly humorous in nature and not intended in any way to incite the 1,253rd flame war between Sens/Leaf fans. Any flame war created by this response is not the intention of the author and would be strictly coincidental in nature)

Hmm.. Bergeron has been the cause of a few injuries this year, I'd keep my eye on him.

IMO, knee injuries are a bigger problem than concussions in today's NHL.

I find this to be a devastating blow to the sens, especially come playoff time. And yes I would love to see Scott Thorton come to town.

A sympathy thread for Varada? What's next, a sympathy thread for Marchment? Varada injured 2 of the habs goalies in back to back games within a week of each other.

I think he's the one that messed up Jagr's thumb, too.

No...I think we didn't play Washington when Jagr got injured.

I don't know what happened to Patrice in that couple of games against the Sens, really . He hasn't injured anybody before or after that.

I don't think any of his hits had intent to injure somebody but timing was a little bad...you want to hit players not sent them out for the rest of the season.

Do you have a link for that. With the injury it would seem plausible, I wonder if he can still play. The leadership wouldn't hurt.

i just listen to nhl live and they did NOT say that the sens signed graves...

they were reading instant messages from fans and a fan wrote that with varada hurt the sens should sign graves...

it was a suggestion by a fan, not a report
