Streit/Coburn
Gustafsson/Grossman
Lauridsen (or other 7th D)

Bryz/Mason or Mason/Bernier

One of G, Schenn, or Scooter's going to have to leave the center position. Couturier should stay there for his defensive abilities, Giroux's better than either of them at faceoffs, so aiming Schenn to wing could prove a setback, but I still think he'd do well enough with Simmonds and G.

Couturier's had issues developing his offensive game, but Voracek might be able to carry the line and hopefully get Couturier moving offensively.

I can see Laughton handling the 3rd line. At worst, he's on the 4th.

I'd really like to see Hall back--great for the PK and his faceoff ability really helps the 4th line.
how could you consider McGinn and Read interchangeable?

He has Bernier on his roster as a possibility, so I assume that accounts for Read heading to Los Angle-is.

^^ Interesting. Hadn't thought about Leino. It would not surprise me at all if the Flyers signed him cheap after a buyout.

Over 8mm in cap space left over and at least as good as last year. With the possibility of trading Mesz and buying out Bryz, Flyers do have money to spend if they want to.

^ What happened to Pronger's cap hit? He needs to still be on the roster, especially in summer when there is no LTIR.

Dude, Leino is in no way suited to play on the third line, especially with Gagne and Couturier, who will likely be assigned to shut down opposing teams' top forwards. Leino is defensively inept.

* I really like Lauridsen and after seeing him last season i think hes our best D man. Great Shot. Big. Fights. Good Positionally.
* Bernier plays 50 games
*Mason Plays 30
*Akeson goes up and Down
*I put Gervais in the minors - hes useless.
*3rd Line is a bit weak. Maybe a free agent signing could change it. Mcginn is awesome. Hits, young, fights, scores.

You'll get a lot of disagreement about the bolded--and I root for Lauridsen a lot.

I like that you are attempting to use youth. A lot of cap left over. I imagine Homer spends up to the cap and acquires at least one more vet.

We found our #1 in Lauridsen and our 30 goal scorer in Rinaldo forget Pietrangelo and Ryan.

Lauridsen was our best defenseman? was he even the best defenseman on ADK?
I like the guy and I am rooting for him to be a NHL regular because the odds are pretty much not in his favor to be a NHL regular here. But come on. lirl

I have a few priorities:
1.Improve overall team D. (Briere, Coburn out, Cullen, Scuderi in)
2.Improve faceoff percentages (Bozak, Cullen)
3.Improve the D first pass out of the zone (Streit, Scuderi, removing Coburn)
4.I don't see Schenn as a future center. He is a winger.

NOTES:
I traded the 11th overall pick + Coburn + Laughton for the 3rd overall pick (Jonathan Drouin)
I signed Cullen, Bozak, Emery and Scuderi.
I bought out Bryz and Briere

We're actually supposed to be getting bigger. I don't think any small guys are being brought in. Bigger 2-way players like Zubrus and Stallberg are probably more likely than most of the other guys suggested.

Zubrus would be a good signing at the right price.
