Rangers/Canucks

Edler + Kassian + 2014 2nd

Girardi + Del Zotto

Van upgrades at defense.

Nyr gets #1 D, top six PFD, and pick

A big no from the canucks.

If we trade edler it will be for a forward. And we need players like kassian.

I'd accept if I was Vancouver, if I was the Rangers I'd have to think about it

Would the Rangers consider throwing in potential assistant coach Mark Messier? If so,...

Were looking to possibly trade Edler for help in the form of a top-6 winger.

We are considering trading Edler because our defense is good/deep and we lack top-6 firepower.

This trade, is us trading from a position of strength (defense) to address an issue of strength (defense)

Easy no from Vancouver, we need help with scoring our D is fine

Edler Garrison
Hamhuis Bieksa
Alberts? Tanev

Our D is strong out top 9

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Booth? Kesler Kassian
Higgins Gaunce? Hansen

With Booths unknown future in Van we simply can't afford to move Kassian, Kassian came on strong in the playoffs and was one of our best forewords, when he started the season he was on fire and AV bumped him down, given our cap situation we can't move a power forward wing like Kassian on a ELC for more depth on D which we already have a lot of and Corrado will be looking for a spot. This deal makes no sense for Vancouver, a team that's looking to get bigger gets smaller in this trade

Its actually kind of funny,

I was just thinking "I wonder if something around Ballard + Booth for Brad Richards would work" (2 lesser capdumps/buyout candidates for 1 capdump/buyout candidate)

And then I remembered that AV coaches NY now...

Ok, ontop of this trade, lets trade Ryan Kesler for Kris Letang.

Pittsburgh needs centers, and Vancouver will need even more d-men after this trade.

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Booth Schroeder Higgins
Hansen Gaunce Weise
Super Awesome 4th Line

Hamhuis Bieksa
Garrison Girardi
Del Zotto Letang
/Tanev

Man that would be cool

Just throw in Ebbett and Weise to seal the deal.

How about:

To Vancouver:
Hagelin
Zuccarello
Stralman
Nieves or Skjei
1st Round Pick 2014

To New York:
Edler
Raymond
Hansen

Even if AV wasn't the coach, why would the Rangers do that? It only benefits Vancouver. Rangers only have 1 compliance buyout left.

We don't want to part with our #1D man and our only real puck mover in Edler, Hansen is worth more to us than his trade value, he's a boarder line 2nd line winger or a perfect 3rd liner. I don't really see any deal between Van and NYR, aren't we both looking for scoring help..

Maybe swap 1st line wingers or centers? No draft pics just player for player

Why not throw Lu in there and ask for Lundquist back?

I don't really see the point in that? If anything Canucks might look at moving Bieksa for top 6 help but that's still unlikely,

We already have a handsome swedish goalie in Eddie Lack. Don't need 2.
