They are very nice looking. They still look new. I wonder why.

Why would they not buyout Bryz? There is not one good reason not to buy him out.

Who is projected to become the new scapegoat in O&B when all of Shelley, Carle, Briere, Bryz are gone?

Probably streit if he doesn't play like a hall of fame defenseman.

without question it will be Streit, even if he has a good year. Every little mistake he makes, he'll be blasted for it

And if Streit plays 82 games and scores 50 points at a plus 12, who will we complain about then?

Streit could very well become the next Matt Carle in the hate department but if Hartnell has another off year don't be surprised if he starts getting flak as well...

Flavor of the month. My guess is Coburn. Could be a forward depending on what happens with the 3C position. Talbot is a prime cadidate scapegoating it would seem. May even be Giroux. People were getting on him last year when he was ONLY scoring at a PPG clip.

if Coburn plays like last year he will derserve to be ripped. as far as any scapegoat goes I agree Streit will be under the microscope by the fans. is that fair? probably not. its just how it is when you sign a guy to a contract like Streit got.

Streit for not scoring 60 points and being +24. Duh!

Seriously, one or both of the goaltenders will almost certainly receive the most flak. It's unavoidable. Another possibility is Couturier: "Holmgren had a chance to trade him when he still had boatloads of potential. He's not turning into the game-changing, point-producing, two-way center he was projected to be!"

Unless he does.

Whoever has the worst performance at the highest cap hit, as usual.

If the breakout is still awful and the forwards don't support the defense again Lavi will get the flak.

As he should. This is his last chance IMO. He gets the axe if things don't improve. Homer next if it continues.

Easy, sport. There are a host of worthier candidates for WGL honours and multiple bits of punctuation. Bryzgalov's statistics have been middle-of-the-road and it's only the excessive contract that makes him so scorned.

Shooters were just way too confident against Bryz. It's got to be a good feeling to be playing the Flyers and know the **** show that awaits between the pipes. I was a fan until he got here, I don't know how he could ever rebound from this start both on the ice and in the media. The locker room is icing on the cake if those rumors have any substance.

If he didn't have such a bad contract, I could see the Flyers giving him one more year. But that deal has real potential to be a franchise crippling contract as time goes on. As bad/shortsighted the Flyers are with the cap, I can't believe they'd ignore the massive risk of keeping him.
