First off the Sabres should be first. Secondly how the hell to the Leafs get in front of us? Retarded as usual.

How does that make any sense?
You need to look past your obvious personal bias. The Leafs are off to a great start and are playing a solid team game right now.

Also, you look moronic saying the Leafs started the season "4 spots below the Habs." The Habs, Leafs and any other franchise started the season (obviously) on even footing.

These rankings are fair and the Leafs are not being over-rated.

You are underating the leafs. No way the habs should be above the leafs on the current power rankings.

Uh....well for starters they havent lost in regulation since the first game of the season, they score about one more goals per game then us. We have 27 shots per game they have 38 shots per game. They beat the sens, they beat the flames and they nearly beat NJ.

I have absolutly no problem with them being ahead of us. Now...could you explain why they should be under Montreal?

Why worry about it? The only thing that counts are wins. Why waste your time on a list?
Go Habs

I give an opinion, you resort to name calling and I'M the moron?

Can't we all just get along.

By the way, I was reffering to the 4 spots the leafs were behind the Habs in TSN's initial power rankings.

I see now that opinions are very annoying to some. Should I check with you guys before giving my next opinion?

As for why the Habs should be ahead of the Leafs...I gave my heavily Habs biased opinion in my previous post.
  1. Habs yet to lose in regulation
  2. Habs started the season in these same rankings 4 spots higher
  3. Habs beat the leafs

Once again kids, I don't believe that you are morons for disagreeing with me, and I actually think the Habs are ranked fairly. Next time I'll try to be less offensive in my comments.

The Leafs played like a playoff team for 6 games.
And we played like a playoff team for 4 games.

That's it. Although they should have a downgrade for losing Kubina for so long. It's not like they're having something else than a 1st unit by now.

I gave my opinion, which is obviously in the minority. I simply thought the change in rankings were MUCH too big for one week, and that they were once again overeacting to 1 good week by the leafs.

I still think I'm right and they (and most of you) are wrong. But it's just an opinion.

I agree with you, but the leafs should be near us though, they have played way better than i expected them too. But 10 spots? this tells me that their rankings arent very accurate, if they were that far off last week. The lost to us and still they are ahead of us and after moving up 10 spots?

at best they should have moved up 6-7 spots max

If it makes anyone feel better, Montreal is 4th (but 14th without goal differential) in the NHL Sagarin ratings (published by USA Today, and the NCAA football Sagarin ratings are used in the BCS formula if you were questioning credibility)
