He doesn't show up because he didn't take enough faceoffs.

I believe we are doing so well is because of Muller. He was a god on faceoffs. I saw a tv show of him demonstrating on his faceoff techniques.

nice. I guess having these 3 guys behind the bench helps a lot.

Faceoffs are really one of the most underrated stats out there.

Nice. I guess the Centers are listening to Carbo/Jarvis/Muller. They were all excellent on the draw.

Our PK is no slouch either running at a 96% clip.

If those stats stay up, we will win many games due to those two aspects.

The list ended at #85. I looked for Ribeiro but couldn't find his name. I wonder why.

I believe so. They knew they really had the skill mastered when on any specific face-off, they both won it

1 PATRICK RISSMILLER SJS 2/2 100.0 %
2 ALEX STEEN TOR 2/2 100.0 %
3 TOMMI SANTALA VAN 11/ 14 78.6 %
4 MARK SMITH SJS 3/4 75.0 %
5 PAUL GAUSTAD BUF 31/43 72.1 %
6 STEVE BEGIN MTL 21/31 67.7 %

Actually, the report excluded the above players (I supposed a minimum of faceoff was needed).

Obviously, 2 or 4 faceoffs are not significant (Rissmiller, Steen and Smith)... but for Santala, gaustad and Begin, the stats are significant (more so for Begin who had 31 faceoffs).

So Begin is a little ahead of the the Koivu...

It was interesting to see Ribeiro at 44%... but more interesting to see Yashin at 31% !!!! Yikes... Awful... does he care at all?

Of course Perreault hasn't played this year...

The stats are more significant for Gaustad than Bégin. Still, 30 or 40 faceoffs isn't nearly as much as 95 (Saku). When Bégin has taken about 100 faceoffs, his faceoff stats may very well not be as good as Saku's.

No surprice. Koivu was always been pretty good at draws ... didnt he have ratio at about 53% last year. I would not expect him to remain all season that high though, that number is a product of couple great games.

Well the Sens are apparently close to signing him according to the team 1200, it was apparently a direct quote from coach Bryan Murray.
