He's playing on the fourth line right now...I don't care which team you're playing on 5pts in 4 games on the fourth line...is pretty great. Who knows what he could've done on our second line... So far Niinima has looked good...but other than our first line of forwards, no one is producing.

He's getting his stats on the PP. If you're not satisfied with our PP, then complain about not having Ribs. But he's not getting those points on the 4th. Just check his icetime yesterday....

http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreport...7/ES020072.HTM

TOTAL ICETIME: 8.45
ICETIME PP: 6.58
ICETIME EVEN: 1.47........

Either they only want to make him a PP specialist, or he'll graduate on the 2nd soon because of his success, will see.....

But like any other forwards just being traded, I remember a certain Marcel Hossa raking tons of points when he was traded and then......Not saying he won't get his points at all, but he's not going to finish top 10 either.....

Regardless of how he's scoring, he's still doing it. If putting Ribs between Begin and Murray and using him on the 2nd wave of the PP would've helped the team...we should've done it. So far he's looking faster and fiestier than he did in the past.

Anywho I guess I'm just pissed that other than our first line, nothing offensive is looking very promising.

Our second line is starting. They got 2 goals in their 2 last games. They will start to click any time now because they have showed serious potential together.

I have no doubt Ribs will produce fairly well over the course of the season, but come the post season he's nowhere to be found. We could have kept him for much of the season and then traded him around the deadline. However, I think it is better that we have the pieces of the puzzle in place as early as possible so as to give those guys in our long term plans (i.e., post season plans) time to gel and find chemistry. With this in mind, getting rid of Ribs later in the season would not have been a good idea.

Just to let you guys know

Chicago is beating Colorado 4-3.

Theo let in the first 3 goals of the game, then Colorado came back to tie it up, then a few minutes later Theo let in a weak goal to blow the lead.

Not bashing Theo, just letting you guys know just incase you've had a bad day

When I saw Lapointe going in, as he took his shot... immediately thought of Domi from last season.

Makes you wonder if Theo put his pants on after the game and appologized to the rest of the team for taking away any chances they had anytime they made a run for it ...

It is really sad to see what his game has become. I really thought he was going to be amazing after he won that Veznia and thought he would rebound to have a decent year this year but he looks pitiful.
But I feel not sympathy for the Avs they got 2 out of Roy they deserve a 5 million dollar lemon from the Habs. PUCKER UP

Oh man I'm starting to get the feeling the Avs won't start him on Saturday, his fragile ego couldn't take it.
