Here's a crazy thought? Why bring prices down at all? If B's win, they spike enormously. If they lose, you'll have a lot of Chicago people traveling for a chance to see the Cup, while the B's fans want to see it averted and get their last look at their team on the Garden ice this year. Either way, no reason for market to dip unless people get antsy and drop their prices for no reason.

Seriously. $3,000+ tickets left, lowest price is $345. If they dip to $250-300, I may bite.

I have my one I'm debating selling. I know I'm going to take a hit on what I paid but I have a ton of crap going on at work that I would miss if the Bruins could win the cup but since they can't I don't know if I want to take the 2 days. Anyone only need one?

So there are 3100 people who have tickets to this game and don't want to go. Must be nice.

If the prices keep dropping I might bust out the Recchi jersey one last time for good luck and go.

I'm trying to play the market and get a single for no more than $300 plus fees. I think with 3200 tickets on the market with the cheapest at $350 already, it'll happen. In 2011, game 6 prices fell the most in the hours before the game.

So do I. Maybe things will change in the next 24 hrs, but it really seems like a slam dunk to me at this point.

Someone decided they wanted to go so looks like I need a pair now. Shouldn't be too much harder though, don't see a lot of singles anyway.

tickets are going to drop big time; it will be flooded and and not like Chicagoans are going to mass purchase especially when they will have game 7 in Chicago- likely not even worth selling after fees

Woooooow lowest on stubhub $320 now with huge inventory left. Imho anyone who wants to go is gonna see in the mid $200's by tomorrow. Crazy. Game 6 of the cup finals!!!

I paid triple that in 2011

You must have bought before they lost game 5 in 2011. Same thing happened this year. Market dropped a little more this year though. It was definitely predictable. Market would have gone up 50-75% if they won. But the loss made it drop the same amount in the other direction.

We won the next two in '11. No reason to think we can't do it again this year.

They are even less this year vs 2011 because of the uncertainty regarding Bergeron

Already a bunch of pairs already in the $280s. You're already doing better than you thought you would. This is insane.

Realistically it has nothing to do with any player injuries or even fan confidence in the team. It's because people either priced their tickets high or didn't list their tickets thinking they would go to Game 6 if the bruins had a chance to win the cup. When they lost, a bunch more tickets hit the market and demand went down. Add that to the fact that the tickets had to be sold in less than 48 hours and ticket prices have plummeted. There are still almost 3000 tickets listed and just over 24 hours until game time. We certainly haven't seen rock bottom of the market yet.

Yeah, if we were up 3-2 right now I honestly think 1500+ tickets would have sold regardless of the price from last night till now and that there would be close to only 1000 left with prices starting close to 1500 after fees.

I sold my Loges back in April for Finals Home Game 3 for 750. It was looking like a huge mistake, and I felt like an idiot for not pricing them higher. But, now thats probably more than I could have gotten after we lost G5. I got 345 for balconys last night and I kept lowering my prices every 5 minutes to be the cheapest so they'd sell asap. I will go if I can for under 200, however I need to save money because I am not sure if I want to do standing room only for Game 7 in Chicago or spend more on seats.

Live by the sword,,,die by the sword. Anyone else on here planing on going out Wednesday to see us win the Cup in the United Center? Would definitely want to meet some other Bruins fans who are going to do standing room only if I go that route.

With tickets sitting around $280 on stubhub, I'm very seriously considering grabbing a pair (or even just 1) if they get to around $220..... from what happened in 2011 right before Game 6, and all the trends of saying prices will plummet right before the game, I don't know... might be worth hanging out at StubHub's office off Causeway Street to get some maybe even Ace Tickets right there on Causeway has some decent prices on game day.

Unless someone has a pair of tickets in the Boston area they'd wan to sell for under $200 right now

It's tough to say. 500 or so tickets have sold since I last checked last night, and prices have stayed steady just South of 300. There are still nearly 2000 tickets left which usually equates to a good drop in price by dinner time, but this isn't just any other hockey game.

I think you'll have a better idea after the lunch rush.
