I find it heartwarming that José will soon be ***-warming the bench! I might even go as far as to say it's somewhat comforting.

abby didnt have to play the league leading in goals scored and 5-0 sabres...

Abby won in TO and we squeezed that win...and played Philly who couldnt buy an empty net goal that night...

now i'm not saying abby played bad by all means he was great but i dont think the judging on Huet is fair.....

Ottawa is no where near where they were last year. The first goal imo...can only be blamed on Huet. It slowly trickled in because his skate wasn't on the post. Don't get me started on the shootout. 2/3 of ottawa's worst players scored 5-hole (not that Vermette and Fisher are bad but compared to Alfredson, Heatley and Spezza...).

Both Philly and Toronto had more scoring chances than Ottawa.

man philly did not have more chances that buffalo...

buffalo kept on pressing and tired our players out...same with ottawa....

i'll agree that TO pressed but philly wasent a threat till the last period...and even then the team nullified every oppurtunity they had...

i think it's time alot of you get it through your head....
Carbo is gonna play them equally until one screws up badly...

two warm goalies are better than one tired goalie and a cold one...

it aint the old nhl where brodeur and luongo will play 12 million games a season...

goalies are getting tired faster now because they have to be on alert more cause players can sneak in alot faster due to no red line, penalties are higher than before meaning the opposing team presses alot more meaning they have to be in the ready position alot longer than previous seasons...

it's extremely tireing just being in a ready position especially a butterfly...

so splitting games works...

i mean liste dway roloson and many fernandez are not elite goalies but when they combined and split games they were walls...(not taking anything away from them they're both great individual goalies as well)

Those Swiss Misses beat the Canadian Sissies in Torino Mafioso...

The first goal you can blame him, but it's only one goal, and he didn't let him affect him that much.

The shootout? Yeah, he's not great at it, and...? It's not like you have them every game. And for what I know, Kipprusoff isn't that great in shootout, but who the hell cares?

Ya, I won't deny that Streit is good on the big ice. My problem with him is in the small rink and much more physical NHL. He gets manhandled.

I would love for him to prove me wrong tonight, LOVE IT. Because we need all the help we can get on the blueline.

but you know what...a defenceman doesnt always have to be a physical presence...

he's good positionaly, good stick handler and quick acting and thinking and pretty fast...so basically he has to find a way to adapt...

smaller forwards find a way to get around tough defenceman...so smaller defenceman will find a way to get around bigger forwards...

keep in mind it's not like before where players can be knocked down in front of the net....but the can be covered and take away all their passing lanes and shooting chances
