Del Z is 22 and can potentially be part of the new core calgary puts together for their rebuild. Seems like a reasonable framework for a trade.
I like the idea of that

My guess is it is fiction.

So since that is likely the case, I will suggest that the Flames might be interested in Boyle.

That already is overpayment in my opinion. Deal makes a lot of sense for both teams.

I know it's been said that Eklund is a fraud who knows nothing, but... Eklund is a fraud who knows nothing.

It Eklund though yo probably nothing to it.
Glencross is the last guy on the planet who would waive for NYC. Any other player on our team would probably, but not Glencross. He's married to Alberta. The only team he'd potentially waive for is Edmonton. When every other NHLer is at the beach and working out, Glencross is riding horses, combining and working out.

Tanguay or Cammaleri make sense since we have a plethora of top 6 LWers and the Blueshirts need one. Boyle or prospect/picks would be the return I'm guessing.

I would love to add to Tanguay and get Del Zotto but I don't think we have the pieces, I think McIlrath will be our target.

Hopefully it's the usual bogus stuff. Not many pieces interest me from the Flames and the asking prices in here make for easy passes.

How far away is McIlrath from his first NHL game?

My guess is Glencross for one of the Rangers recent 1rst round draftees if there is ground onto it. (Kreider, Miller, Skjei)

I agree except not many pieces that the rangers have interest me. At least not the ones they would actually trade, there roster does have great pieces I just don't see them trading many of them.

I like the few games I saw of his this year, I would say he probably needs another year in the AHL to finish filling out (he is currently around 215 but he is 6'5 so he could add a bit more weight) and I think he still needs to work on his skating a bit. But he is a nasty mother****er who isn't scared of anyone. He reminds me of Regehr in his prime.

It would actually **** Sather due to the cap recapture if Richards retires early.

I'd have interest in Boyle if he's available. I think he would've been for sure if Torts was still there. He's not though...

LOL, no. It's Richards fault for playing like an abomination. He won't be traded, anyway, CAP RECAPTURE. How many times does it need to be said?

He could still resign for 1 year and then be dealt again at the deadline.
