Also told him to let his brother know to use his big body more (brought up his uncle Keith Tkachuk as well and he was very impressed) Both caught the Hawks win and both were hammered. Hopefully we see the whole "trench guys" (Pirri, Stanton, Morin, J. Hayes etc. to go with Leddy, Shaw) all with the big club next season.
what did he say? if you don't feel you can say it here, then just pm me.

Wow.. sorry boys was busy all day. He was basically saying his D is alright (although he feels wingers like Sharp, Hossa etc. can do the heavy lifting for him next year if he's up so not much ringing endorsements there though to his credit.. just wants to be up with the boys, doesn't care if he's top 6 or 4th line so that's a positive) He says he'll definitely back check though. Feels Campoli screwed him out of his number 14 and poked some jabs at Jimmy for Kevin to like. Likes the Pat Mullane signing for the Hawks, but doesn't like the added competition. Big fan of Kruger's D apparently. Says he's tough to play against in practice when he was at Rockford from the lockout. If you wanna know about Q or anything else, I'll just PM it to ya, but that's basically the jist of it.

Agreed. Fun to think what the team could be if Pirri could come in and have a Saad like impact at the #2 center spot.

There is no way that pirri told a stranger that sharp and hossa could do the heavy lifting for him next season on D.

May be stupid and unlikely but not impossible. A young guy sauced out of his mind can do and say some pretty stupid things with his guard down.

I agree. Some of these guys seem a little unsophisticated...remember last year someone noticed that one of the prospects was following an anti-bowman parody account on twitter. i forget which player...i think one of the college guys.

I figured it out...it's Clendening who follows the account:

Fire Stan Bowman ‏ @Fire_StanBowman
Stan Bowman is GM of the Blackhawks because of daddy. He won a Cup with Dale Tallon's players. His acquisitions suck.

Thanks guys. I would not have wasted my time to come on here and share what I experienced if it wasn't true. But believe what you want, but I know first hand. But to Pirri's defense, he was alittle hammered. And I guess alot of the older spects know Kevin cause of Jimmy of course.

#Hawks goalie Henrik Karlsson off to Skelleftea in Sweden http://www.svt.se/sport/ishockey/svt...for-skelleftea

Signed a one-year, 200k contract. That frees up a goalie spot in Rockford.

If either of these guys, and any of the guys in the system for that matter, want to know what it's going to take to make the big club they just saw it for the last 10 days. Anything less and their upside is Rockford. Training camp should be real interesting this year.

It's actually 200k SEK so ~30k USD.

Thanks.

I purposely didn't include the currency because Google didn't translate one for me.

I'm sorry, it's naturally per month, so 360k/year! #hungover

Isn't Hutton a UFA?

I think they find a different goalie. They are tired of not making the playoffs, and probably want a real #1 AHL goalie. I still have a feeling Raanta plays in the A next year and the Hawks sign a cheaper back up option.

I'm not sure how it works with Raanta's contract, but if his caphit's going to count against Chicago's cap, than he'll be in the NHL. He'll probably be in the NHL regardless, but especially if his caphit effects Chicago while in the minors.

Teravainen/McNeil/Danault

Which of the kids (our first rounders) will make the team, where do you see them 3 years from now?

It's interesting to try and guesstimate -

- TT has another year left on his deal in Finland
- McNeill is far from NHL and needs a few years in AHL
- Danault I could see winning roster spot next year if he beats out one of the Black Aces. His D game could translate to NHL now and his C/W experience provides Q options for lineup

My guess

TT in NHL in 3 years along with Danault and McNeill either still in AHL or traded
