Will most likely be a Cammalleri trade if true, it wreaks of Sather.

Trade for a player for cheap and hope he returns to form that he had with a prior team.

Richards for Wideman kind of makes sense for both teams.

If they are in trade discussions, then one of Calgary's three 1st's are coming to New York.

Than there's no ground to it. Glenny isn't going anywhere. And I seriously doubt Wideman is either, just signed, and is atm one of our top dmen.. If there is anything to it, it's Tanguay or Cammy

It really doesn't. If Richards doesn't see out his contract for whatever, the Rangers get a massive cap penalty regardless of what team he's playing for. The only realistic option for the Rangers is to buy him out

Wouldn't be surprised. Feaster loves Richards and Cammy asked out. Rangers might have to add cause of Richards contract or eat a bit of his salary

No it doesn't. It has been explained many times about the cap recapture penalties. Also with the trading of Bouwmeester, Wideman is even more important to the Flames as their need to a top pairing minute eating defenseman is as great as their need for a #1 center.

Is MDZ doable for Tangs or Cammy?

No backsies.

It would have to be a 2014 2nd as well.

Maybe if calgary includes the 6th overall. There's no way you'd get MDZ for either of those players straight up.

How exactly? If Richards retires early we then face the recapture. Ignorance at its finest... all 10 of your posts to be exact. Based on what I have seen in the Rangers forum Im starting to doubt if you are actually a Rangers fan.

23 year old defenseman who was on pace for over 40 points in a full 82 game season. He has hit that mark before. He will be a consistent 40+ point defenseman in his prime. What exactly will Lindholm or Monahan be? That's right... no one knows because prospects are not a known commodity in the NHL. Its not as LOL as you make it out to be. I wouldn't do it from a Rangers perspective and I don't know enough about Calgarys defense to know whether they even need defense.

Right on. Rangers fans try to ship him in every trade. Keep the superstar.

No only a certain few who have obsessions with draft picks, prospects and don't understand the concept of win now mode.

Every team has a fanbase who would ship out just about any player for picks and prospects because they think this is an EA Sports NHL game.
