Sabres Goals For so far

Sabres GF after 6 games 31 and 16 against after tonight's game...almost 6 goals a game average. Just an amazing stat worthy of posting.

BTW our habs are now 3-0-2, 8 pts in 5 games..tied for second on the division with the Leafs with a game in hand on them. Looking good guys.

I'm basing that off recent playoff history, of course.

It's still early. Plus, the Flyers wanted to teach a lesson to their a-hole goalie.

The Sabres are easily the best team in the East. The Hurricanes won't eliminate them this time.

The Flyers haven't looked good to me. They won't finish atop their division, and I think the Habs will get more points. Esche won't last long if Hitchcock and Clarke can do anything about it.

Much closer to 5 than 6 per game but yes they are very very good!

The Sabres are better than the Habs. Their Dmen are faster and get the puck up ice better with their crisper passing. Although their #1 shot blocker, McKee, is gone, the others aren't bad. Their goaltending is also better. Vanek has improved and Briere is back and in good health. The Habs should concentrate on finishing ahead of as many other rivals as possible in order to get a more favorable playoff position.

Seeing how good they are, it just irks me that much more that we blew a 2-goal lead in the season opener against them.

To quote the sage Denny Green:

"If you want to crown them, just crown their ***! They are who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook!"

IMO if the Sabres don't miss that many D against the Cannes last year, they would have won.

They beat the Sens in 5,thats pretty good IMO
