A healthy Emery or resigning Biron would have helped...

Nah, he's kinda doughy.

And if there's anything Richards has taught us, it's that Kane would have caught almighty hell for that, too.

This is why we can't have good players.

Wasn't it near the end of the 3rd period in game 6, not OT? Either way yeah it would have been the GWG, but I doubt we would have won Game 7 in Chicago.

Richards, Carter and Kane all partying at the same time?...... I'm sure that would have ended well.

If the blackhawks never drafted Kane, who says they even make it to the finals? Chances are a different team plays the Flyers and the Flyers lose anyways.

Chicago had Keith and Seabrook, arguably the best defense pair in the game, before Kane even got there. There is nothing even close in Philly.

The Flyers had Pronger and Timonen. The Flyers top 4 Dmen were better than the Blackhawks that year. It was the bottom pairing that held the team back.

More pressing:

If Ray Emery doesn't turn out to have a freak disorder, we win the Cup.

I find that more evident of god's hatred toward us.

Oh, and just so everyone is clear. Three years later, Emery is back and playing well despite this. Only the Flyers... (On a side note, I'd love to sign him to tandem with Mason.)

There were so many problems with the 2010 Finals and we have been over it and over it on here. There was not "one" issue that could have been fixed. Goalies sucked. Our biggest offensive players sucked. Our third pair played a total of like 10 minutes in the entire series.

No. Holmgren would have traded him by now for Adrian Aucoin and a 3rd rounder.

Our offense scored 22 goals. The most pressing issue was the goalie. Hell, the 3rd pairing wouldn't have been such a tremendous problem if the goalie had been semi-competent at bailing them out, but he couldn't be trusted to do anything.
