It had to be done, but the downside is that the Philly media -- all 7 of those clowns -- now feel even more empowered. He needed to be more professional, but they were *******s to him. Can't stand any of them.

Can't wait for even more media bull **** about the guy. Good for Bryz to tell them to F off.

I agree with that, but this is the Philly media we're talking about so you know that's not going to happen.

And that's the end of that chapter. The only mistake Homer ever made is now gone.

Pretty sure he was referring to talking to him over the last 2 seasons and not just today.

Sooooooo happy. Maybe he can put it together somewhere else (likely the KHL), but he was never going to here. Sunk cost. Tear off the bandaid and start again.

So Randy Bobandy withheld some juicy stuff such as this for what reason?

As petty and unprofessional as it comes off, I believe it.

Bryzgalov is/was/will always be a *******.

We heard about a lot, but I guarantee there's a lot we didn't hear about.

Where there's smoke, there's fire and there has ALWAYS been smoke about how horrible a person Bryzgalov is to his teammates, to his coaches, and to the cities that watch him play.

Good ****ing riddance.

Mistake acknowledged. Get him out of sight and out of mind. Move onward and (hopefully) upward.

Which means there is a trade confirmed for another goalie, this could turn from a dream to a nightmare very quickly.

Guess what Randy, Bryzgalov has no reason to talk to you or any member of the Philadelphia media. So stop crying that he hung up on you.

I am assuming he is KHL bound...in which case I can't wait to hear what he has to say.

If he plans to stay in the NHL, he probably won't say much.

Either way...Flyers going into the offseason with money to spend...look out.

Full credit to homer for addressing this, its hard to correct mistakes, but this one is definitely the biggest. Glad we aren't a small market team. Homer is definitely on a short leash now, you know Snider doesn't like the idea of throwing that money away like that.

I think you can add about $4 mil to that for when Mez leaves (or Coburn).

This is what scares the crap out of me. We have to resign Giroux, Schenn, Coots and Read next year and if Homer doesn't save some cap space we will be in trouble even with Timonens contract being up.
