Scout Ryan Jankowski accepts position with Hockey Canada

@TSNBobMcKenzie: Couple of notes on new Hockey Canada chief scout Ryan Jankowski. Was NYI chief amateur scout and then western MTL scout til taking HC job.

Sucks for us, but best of luck to Ryan!

I think Hockey Canada's scouting needs the help more than we do, at this point.

I would probably agree on that. With all the best young players from Canada going to the NHL usually right out of the draft, Canada's scouting needs to be able to find gems.

All the best to Ryan Jankowski!

Don't think they need scouting as opposed to better coaching and more training/familiarization sessions. But ofcourse good luck to him.

Agreed. I am still wondering how Steve Spott got picked to coach a team full of studs that finished 4th

Our current weakness is goaltending, almost impossible to win a sudden elimination game with a goalie who has a sub-par game.

Plus our best player Hudon was injured

Hockey Canada needs to get its head out of its rear end and focus on coaching and tactics a little bit more.

We should be winning every season with a few anomalies here and there, not the other way around.
