How do the habs affect your Studying Habits?

Do the games distract you to the point that it affects your grades?

I have to admit, they affect mine.... especially in the spring

I gotta get better at managing my time.... but I'm already 23 years old so I guess I'm never going to change....

I'm not in school at the moment. I graduated high school in June, tried out college for a bit in September but ultimately decided to take a year off instead. Just can't figure out what I want to do.

So right now, as I look for a job, all the Habs do is take time from me that could be used for looking for a job.

Maybe that explains why I'm still unemployed. Curse you Habs!

..just kidding!

lol I have an assignment I blew off, and a midterm tomorrow that I should have studied for. Tonight's game is going to be a costly one to watch.

I was just looking at my grades and my GPA for different terms is hugely different. Fall term (Sep-Dec) is 3.5, Winter (Jan-Apr) is 3.3, Spring (May-Aug) is 3.9 (Would actually be 4.0, except for this past spring's World Cup term).

Gee, I wonder what causes that difference?

Get married, and at least you won't have to slap yourself anymore, your wife will take care of it.

True enough. Think of the advantages : you get slapped AND you can't watch the games. Really a win-win situation.

What world do you live in such that getting slapped, and not watching the games, is win-win?! hahaha

You are obviously not married. I should let McPhee fill you in on all the other advantages.

Every damn sport event is ruining my studies. Yesterday and today, Champions League soccer + Habs game. Come on, gimme a break!

Still nothing like the first day of MLB playoffs. 3 MLB games + 2 first NHL regular season games + Lance et Compte = Glued to the sofa all day long

To me that sounds like a long nap before you watch some hockey. I agree, your studies must be suffering.

They do bigtime. It was even worse last year when I had season tickets. They also affect my relationship, I think my girlfriend hates hockey now.

My girlfriend is the same way... except she hates the Habs, not hockey . She's a Sens fan...
