Am I the only one who finds it strange that the Norris winner hasn't made the top 15 yet?

No, because he doesn't play good defense hence why the Norris is a joke

How on god's green earth foes Kronwall have 3 votes?

And how on god's green earth did Girardi beat Hedman and Alzner?

Dion Phaneuf

What has Hedman done to warrant having so many votes?

Tim Gleason surprises me every time I see him with how good he is defensively.

I do. I voted for him. Every bit as good defensively as he his offensively. There's a reason he won the Norris.

Lol oh my God. How has Beauchemin not been picked? I don't want to sound like a homer, but if we're going off of last year, Beauch is top 5.

Not just going off of last year. I'm assuming it means who is the best right now currently/going forward. But I would assume most would take entire body of work/career into account.

I went with ScuderiI but Alzner would have been my 2nd. Hedman is pretty good too maybe I wasn't paying enough attention as many have him over the two I thought of.

I think a lot of people lump hitting and general physicality in with defensive play. At the very least, guys like Seidenberg and Girardi are a lot more visible than the Alzner and Vlasic types because of it.
