Samuelsson with detriot and Sykora with the pens

Doug Weight with the Canes. Todd Marchant with the Ducks. Also, depending on if they actually got their names on the Cup, Marc Savard and Kim Johnsson.

Unless he means since the last lockout. The Blackhawks are the only team to win the Cup since the last lockout.

Marchant garnered us the guy who took dozens of key faceoffs in the 94 playoffs. Will never forget that.

Well I meant Rangers since 05-06, that left then won a cup since 05-06.

Sykora was a good one. I forgot about him. Nice backhand shootout move.

He played about a dozen (less?) games for the Hawks in 09-10, doubt his name is in the cup

I seem to remember him being a deadline acquisition. Maybe in the Cam Barker trade? He didn't play a game in the playoffs though.

Looked it up. Definitely the Barker trade, which also brought Chicago Leddy. He was hurt for the playoffs that year. Per Wikipedia, the hawks didn't request his name be engraved.

Im happy for Rozi.

When I started to really get into hockey it was right after the 05 lockout. In those years with Jagr, Nylandr, Straka, Prucha, Malik... Rozi was one of my fav guys and fav defenders in the league. A well rounded tough defender.

When we went up against Buffalo in the playoffs, that year I believed Rozi was a top 10 defender in the league and growing. Not many guys I found to be better, only Campbell in that series.

Rozi then got hurt, he then got heavy and he became slow. We paid him a bit too much and thus he was gone. He rebuilt himself up and im happy for the guy

Watched it till the end and though to myself "good mtoher of god ****ing finally did he take a good shot!!!!!!!"

Somebody posted he had a good arsenal of weapons to use.

Unfortunately he didn't use it often for us.

Still good for him to win a Cup. Congratulations !

[addendum: Good Lord was Jagr strong and good for us, good times ]

Why would you add STANLEY CUP CHAMPION in capital letters like anyone gives a **** that he won? This was not a beloved player that we all followed. I'm sure half the people here didn't even know or care he was still playing.

I was rooting for Rozi too, even though Chicago is one of my least favorite teams in the NHL I wish Jagr had been traded to Chicago, not Boston (but I hate Boston even more than I dislike Chicago).

Only rooted for him so Redden didn't win. Wasn't terrible but he wasn't as good as any poster here will make him out to be.
