I don't think we will. I honestly don't see Fucale going that early. I see him going in the mid-20's personally.

I think Homer and Co will be looking for the most NHL ready player with their pick whether that be defensemen or forward.

I think they'll balance potential with ready, but I think that you're right when saying that NHL ready or very nearly will be a factor in how we draft.

And I have to say that I completely agree with you. When we had a goaltender who wasn't letting in softies, it didn't matter that our net was getting shelled because of the piling defensive injuries. I agree completely that it was exactly the same system played by lesser defensive players playing hard to earn a roster spot in the upcoming years in conjunction with credible level goaltending that helped us pull above the .500 mark. Further more, I also completely agree with you that blaming Laviolette's system, when it was not altered in any real significant way, is ridiculous.

Man, I'm glad google has a translate feature. That could've gotten ugly.
Cute.
Yet Bryz posted a .929 SV% in his final 4 games of the season. The "Mason did it" argument doesn't really fly here.

Before or after he got benched for Mason?

I don't see the correlation.
And how was he benched, when they pretty much alternated to close out the season?

Despite all the gloom and doom about our D and goaltending, I think we have a lot of nice pieces to work with moving forward, barring trades. We have a "potential starter/star" in Stolarz as well as a decent(health being a factor) defense as is. Add in a young defensemen at 11 and 41 and we could be on our way

TSN has the Mckenzie draft show and a mock draft tonight. Do us Americans have any chance in viewing this online, or even NHL network?

Unfortunately no for the NHL Network, they find that airing old playoff games and re-runs of games from the previous nights is better than something that is actually current. The NHL does a terrible job with selecting its programs for that network. It's always re-runs of something.

NHL network is terrible. All they do is play old playoff games. Or specials like "Oil Change". It's so bad

Yeah saw that. Zad at 11 but that's a ranking not a mock so I'm curious as to who they have the Flyers picking as well as how the rest of the round shakes out.

Nurse at #11 & McCoshen at #41 would be my dream haul or trading #41 & Read to get back into the first to take Morrissey.

I'd like Sam Morin and somebody like Shea Theodore with our two picks.

would you settle for a 2nd for read

how about calgary, #38 pick for matt read. mccoshen, that would be pretty juicy. and then we can keep 41.

The 2013 Rankings show. I don't believe it includes Button's mock draft though.

Calagry was reported to be very high on Read earlier this year. You might be able to squeeze the #28 pick out of them for him. Hell with Feaster there you might be able to even get the #22 pick out of them.

Gigantic frame, great positioning, smooth skating, decent physicality when amped, and stone hands.

Anyone else that remind you of?
