That team could be ours. All we have to do is not blow our load early on shiny things.
You could probably add Read (cap permitting) and another 1st round pick as well. I like the players we have.

I agree this would be a great lineup as long as everyone continues to develop. But I would not be against trading for Ryan now as Giroux, Couturier, Voracek, Simmonds, Laughton, Hartnell and the Schenns and the #11 are not involved. So maybe a trade like Coburn, Read, 2014 1st for Ryan and Sbisa. As long as we have a replacement for Coburn I would be fine with it. I would not let Coburn keep me from acquiring Ryan early. So basically we would have the same lineup except for Coburn's replacement and maybe whatever pick we give up in the trade.

Stolarz wont be up that early, not until hes at least 23. Otherwise, that is a pretty scary good team...

I just put Stolarz in for lack of anyone else to put in right now.

And yeah...that team is scary good as long as Ristolainen is the real deal.

With the way Homer talked about him today, I really think he is gonna be drafted at 11th come Sunday.

Sigh, I posted about this earlier in the thread with all of the relevant statistics. Playing with Crosby has done very, very little (like .03 PPG) for Dupuis's numbers.

People used to despise Talbot too. You're right though.... the money likely will not be right for the Flyers on Dupuis or most oft he toher players being discussed in this thread. People woefully underestimate the stupid amount of money thrown around in unrestricted free agency to borderline talent.

I've grown to like Ristolainen the way I liked Dougie Hamilton two years ago.

Let's hope MacKinnon doesn't fall to 11.

I would be astounded is Ristolainen made it to 11 honestly. I think it's more likely that Nurse makes it than Ristolainen.

I second, third, and fourth this, the Flyers already have guys that do what Clarkson does and do it better, and no thank you to Horton also with his health risks, I'm with the Ryan bandwagon

Not to make a big deal out of the 4C, but I really feel that Holmstrom's opportunity has come and gone.

I just picked a name, like I did with Stolarz.

this team needs some fire power, players like Horton are great support pieces and are great to have if you have your marquee players in place already but we can't keep stacking the roster with players that resemble harts and simmer, Homer has to go out and get a BIG Jersey selling STILL IN THIER PRIME Allstar game no brainer 35 goal scorer, and the same in the blue line(minus the 35 goals back there)

Vinnie LeCav is available, Lightning just used a buyout and he could be signed for a 2 year contract at a much lower price too.

I think they are going to target Clowe,Bickell and Clarkson. Not that I agree with it, but thats what I think. Especially with Holmgren saying he wants to get bigger on the wings.
Cant see us going after Brad Richards or Vinny.

This is my first year really following the draft prospects closely, but I've been on the Ristolainen train since I realized in February that the Flyers were going to be a lottery team.

Not interested in Clarkson, I don't put too much stock in players with success coming out of Jersey. Most of them are just a subject of their system.

All we keep hearing here is that he wants to play for the Leafs.

Out of those choices I guess I would want Bickell the most out of the three.

I would be totally fine going after Stalberg as a cheaper option for a replacement for Gagne. I like McGinn and Noebels for the future big wingers.

I could actually see that happening too, especially if they let MacArthur walk. They only really have three top six wingers right now, and he would look very good on a line with Kadri and JVR.

Right now, per Cloutier Oilers look for a top-4 defender and may be ready to give up their first rounder.

Would you do

Coburn and 11th pick and 41st pick

for

7th pick and 37th pick.

Point is, with the 7 th overall we get one out of Ristolainen or Nurse 100%.

Overpayment?
How about Columbus 14th and 27th for Flyers 11th and 41st picks?

I'd do it if Ristolainen and Nurse go in the top 10.
