No the owners negotiated the deal and tried to force Feaster to sign it he refused and quit because he thought it was a crazy contract.

We would finish 25th tops. On the Pirri/Morin deal I would consider the 22nd for them and the 30th.

Solid plan.

I'm not sure I like Scuderi for 3 years. Id say 1, maybe 2 for a 4 mill cap.

Yea I thought about it but I think in 2 years Scuderi will still a serviceable bottom pairing defenseman.

I think lots of teams will offer him a 2 year deal so I think the 3rd year is how we get him.

Seguin being dangled. What would it cost? 6, Gio and Gaudreau? More, less or different?

If we give the 22nd instead of the 6th I do it. But Boston has cap issues and this wouldn't help.

The overpayment would be ridiculous, I think that is a good offer but I wouldn't do it.

I'd do 6, Cammy at 3 or gio, and any prospect not named Bartschi. I'd even do Gaudrea and I really really don't want to.

I think the Kings are really motivated to bring back Scuderi. He's a very solid pairing for DD. But if we could get him, I'd hugely be in favor of it.

They have Doughty, Voynov, Regehr, Greene, Mitchell (if he is healthy) all under contract and have to sign Muzzin, Martinez, Ellerby as well as several forwards with only 6 million cap space. If Mitchell comes back or all 3 RFA's agree to deals I think they let Scuderi go.

6th, Cammy @ 3, prospect

OR

6th, Glencross, prospect

is probably what it would take.

Now that we've drafted and I feel kind of safe in that we aren't going to lose those picks, I'm fully on board with targeting Seguin.

I really think targeting Bozak in FA makes a lot if sense for the flames.

He's good in the faceoff dot and is very strong defensevely.

I don't want Bozak, he's just another 2nd/3rd line center.

Keith Ballard could be had for free off waivers. I'd like to se him picked up. He is still youngish and would be a nice reclamation project. Plus, I'm not convinced that beyond Brodie, Giordano, and Wideman that we have any legit NHL defenseman on the roster.
