I think its much more likely the Yankees are tryin to con A-Rod out of his salary by trying to say he can't play while he says he can..

http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/stor...cording-source

Thats exactly what went through my head when Cashman responded the way he did the other day

Was still a good pick up for the Jays like you have said though. 2 good starts 2 bad starts, he is a 5th starter in the AL East making no money not the worst thing in the world.

It's reached the point where I think every time he takes the mound, this is the kind of performance I expect from him,

I know some may laugh but Harvey is starting to look like the MLB version of Lundqvist where you get the guy 2/3/4 runs you will win 95 percent of the time. He is amazing to watch.

Always disappointed when Harvey gives up a hit.

He deserves a no hitter.

Yankees should just blow it up honestly and use the next half of the season as a rebuilding year.

After his hot start, John Buck has been absolutely dreadful to watch.

We're not gonna get anything for him. I'd be for DFAing him and letting Recker play. Anything so that I don't have to watch John Buck be awful at baseball.

He fell off a cliff just as bad as Vernon Wells did.

I think it's time to #FreeD'Arnaud

D'Arnaud needs to free himself from his cast first.

Him getting injured really put a damper on my expectations for him.

I think it was his ankle. Last I heard he was "running underwater" which means we probably won't see him until September.

I think something is wrong with the dude. He was always injured for the Jays. Made from same material as Sami Salo perhaps. I hope he turns it around for the Mets sake.

And Dickey has been scary good the past 2 starts. May be finally starting to turn his season around. Happy for the guy.

Anna Benson held on attempted Robbery & gun charges

Since this is Baseball related I figured I would put this link in here than start a new thread.

Anyone remember Anna & Kris Benson? Kris Benson was a pitcher for the NY Mets from 2004-05. He was decent, but his hot crazy wife was a handfull.

Sadly the Benson's marriage wasn't forever & they are divorced. As for Anna she isn't the hot crazy sexpot anymore, she is just crazy.

I still remember when she said that if Kris ever cheated on her she would sleep with everyone on Mets.

Rosenthal: Jeter will return on Thursday
By Mike Axisa
Via Ken Rosenthal: Derek Jeter will come off the DL and return to the Yankees on Thursday, in time for their afternoon game against the Royals.
