do we need a shot at the Leafs in every thread? if you are talking about the rask trade, oh well bad trades happen...guess what, leafs ***** boston for kaberle and ended up getting the best player by a landslide in the kessel trade...so maybe work on some new material...Leafs have a damn good team now and are only going to get better and better. this from a bruins fan.

Nichushkin falls out of the top 10.
No trades in the top 15 picks.
Preds' draftee is only player not interviewed (not too bold).
TSN shows Brian Burke more than once.
Leafs get 10 times the coverage as everyone else.
Someone puts their jersey on backwards.

My bold prediction is that the Ottawa Senators draft Stephen Harper of the Erie Otters just for laughs.

The Islanders trade down and pick a goalie in round 2
TSN screw up the coverage of the later rounds by harping endlessly about round 1 long after it's finished

Nichushkin doesn't fall.
Petan rises.
The obsession with Horvat tones down because too many teams pass on him.
Multiple teams trade up into the 9-16 spots.
Erne and Mantha aren't taken top 19.
Gauthier turns into Getzlaf.
More people bust than are expected.
Top 15 picks turn out good, rest are average in round 1.

Fucale goes in the top 11 (Either to New Jersey or Philadelphia)
Edmonton picks a defenseman at #7
Colorado trolls us all and picks Jones at #1

Fucale goes top eleven then busts like M-A Fleudy...an over-bgped mess..
TRISTAN JARRY is bhpassed till round 2 but makes teams that did so look like fools as he becomes a generagjonal franchise goalie and future H of F'er...
MADISON BOWEy is taken late first but becomes the best dman taken in this draft...and a fhture Norris Tophey winner..Seth Jones becomes only a Jaybo fype..
DILLON HEATHERINTON goes late first or early 2nd but b
ecomes a 2 or 3 dman with a long succesful nhl career making the team that took him very happy they did.
NICHOLAS BAPTISTE is not slected in round one but becomes the best RW taken in this draft making many GMs looking like chumps for the busts and avsrage joes or career AHLers they did select instead
MIKE McCARRON never turns into a tkp six forward BUT as a third liner nevertheless becomes an intimidating fear factor to opposing dmen that will get pounded by him.. Making the team taking him quite pleased.
PHILLIPE DESROSIER like JARRY, makes GMs scratch their heads as to how he also did not go first round...as he too becomes a starting elite NHL goalie in a few years..
2/3 of the first round picks either become only average NHLers or Busts...proving again that the draft is mostly a crap shoot andlots of hyped ones do not live upto expectation...
ONE OF the first five picks will bust..TWO of the first five picks wil be just average..TWO of the first five picks willbecome NHL elite franchise players..I doubt Seth Jones will be one of the latter two...

I don't think it's "bold" in any way, but I have a gut feeling Dallas takes one of Horvat, Wennberg or Ristolainen at number 10. I can't imagine them picking anyone else.

- Domi goes in the top 10
- Lindholm goes in the top 5
- Calgary will draft Fucale in the 1st round
- Ristolainen falls out of the top 15
- Tampa takes Nichushkin
- Jarmo Kekäläinen gets a trade done that can be viewed as him essentially stealing another GM's lunch money
- Barkov doesn't go in the top 5
