^Nothing yet from any of my usual sources/haunts

Carolina has re-signed Brett Bellemore
Quote:
Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Brett Bellemore (BREHT BEHL-mohr) on a one-year, two-way contract. The deal will pay Bellemore $600,000 on the NHL level or $150,000 on the American Hockey League (AHL) level, with a guarantee of at least $250,000.
Quote:
Bellemore, 25, made his NHL debut with the Hurricanes on March 21, and registered two assists and seven penalty minutes in eight NHL games during the 2012-13 season.
Quote:
The Hurricanes drafted Bellemore (6’4”, 210 lbs.) in the sixth round, 162nd overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

Kaberle lecavalier montador olesz. Briere and bryzgalov might have happened but both are still listed on the flyers active roster. Bryz has been talking to teams though so sounds like his is done, but idk if he had a nmc because if he didn't then he has to go on waivers first. Briere's could also be done as he doesn't need to go through waivers because of his nmc and the site could be slow on updating

Lecavalier is NOT official yet.

per Chris Johnston

Vincent Lecavalier remains on the #TBLightning reserve list. Until he's officially bought out, other NHL teams can't speak with him.

Oh was sifting through teams official rosters on their sites and lecavalier isn't on Tampa bay's active roster so I assumed he had been officially bought out

Can bought-out free agents sign before July 5 or do they have to wait?

I think they can talk and agree on a contract but they have to wait till July 5 to make it official. That's my understanding

I'm guessing that teams can now talk to players until the 5th of July?

“@News1130Sports: No offer has been made to Raymond by the #Canucks.”

“@News1130Sports: Agent Don Meehan says no contact with the #Canucks about his client Maxime Lapierre who will be a u-f-a in a few days.”

Lapierre was told at the beginning of the month to test free agency according to news 1130 but about 2 weeks ago they reported that canucks back tracked on that and they also reported that Lappy wants to remain in Vancouver.

News 1130 also reported awhile back that the canucks have had no talks with Derek Roy either and that he is expected to hot the market

Carolina said today that Marc-Andre Gragnani (who has signed in the KHL for next season) is an UFA, not a RFA.

The Kings didn't qualify Keaton Ellerby, he's headed to free agency. https://twitter.com/reallisa

Does anybody know what days Lecavalier, Briere or Bryzgalov's buy-out officially went through (Philly actually still has their buyouts on their team roster)

Not sure but the Flyers official roster page is AWFUL. Was updating some line combinations earlier this year for my own records and the Flyers had guys listed on their roster who'd been in the minors for weeks.

Added Komisarek to the UFA list.

Will probably begin shifting the RFAs who were not qualified to the UFA list either later tonight or tomorrow morning, still waiting on a few players.

Jordie Benn signed a 3 year extension with Dallas. Seems like a long-term for him.
