Philly Will Win

I think Philly will win tonight, and crush Tampa. Tampa isn't a GREAT team, plus EVERYONE on the philly roster knows that this is clutch time. You slack off, and you lose your job. I have a feeling Philly will respond to the recent transactions, and I am more than sure Forsberg will be doing everything he can to rally the troops.

I get that feeling tonight as well.

Thanks for the confidence though.

That really doesn't mean much though. We could come out and win 10-0 and would gain absolutely no momentum and get killed the next game. I think it's a Hitchcock thing, personally. It just seems like something sucks the life out of this team whenever we get any sort of momentum going.

That's a good point.

One win will stop the bleeding, but this team has a history of looking awesome one game (against the Rangers) and then absolute garbage the next game (Buffalo).

Tampa Bay's last game was a huge stinker too, so it should be a good matchup.

OK, thanks for the vote of confidence, but we haven't beaten Tampa since Jesus roamed the Promised Land.

We all thought the Flyers would respond in a huge way, after last year's playoff exit. We were wrong then, and we'll be wrong in assuming that this group will respond tonight. They're going to suck.

(If I set my expectations low enough, I won't be let down.)

I really don't expect anything different than the last game. Hitch behind the bench = perpetual suckiness. We're all going to just have to endure.

With the loss, we are officially the league's worst team at 1-5-1. Everyone else has at least 2 wins.

We have nowhere to go but up!

Bleh.

I admire you're optimism!

Unfortunately, the glass cannot be half full for me because I don't see anything in it at all. It's like everyone's glasses are completely empty and I'm stuck with check.
