Glencross, Gaudreau, 22, 28 is the best I would offer.

id be fine with one of Gaudreau or Glenny but not both.

I feel like Seguin is getting a smidge over-rated because of his draft position. He hasn't been good lately.

Imagine if we make that trade though:

Kessel

for

Hamilton, Knight, Glencross, Gaudreau, 22nd, 28th.....

Thats crazy

Knowing Boston's luck, they would find some way to package our **** together and get Drouin or something

I feel he is getting underrated lately, some of the offers are just bad. He's still going to be a 30g, 80-90p player, the only question is if he does it at center or wing. you aren't going to get him cheap. I honestly don't think he'll get dealt, nobody will really be able to afford him, including us.

Would love to get Seguin but I think his price will be way too high for most teams. I think better off trying to sign someone like Horton.

And give St. Louis 3-4 lottery picks, with the potential one is McDavid?

I know its TSN and their biggest market are fans of Canadian teams, but I think it is notable that LeBrun only mentioned one team on the panel when talking about Tyler Seguin (the flames). Has me excited, nervous, and scared. I've invested so much of my time following g Gaudreau, really hope he isn't traded.

I'd do this:

To Flames:

Seguin

To Boston:

6th Overall
Cammalleri(we eat 3-5 of his 6 million dollar cap hit)
2nd Round 2014(we are just allergic to 2nd rounders, lol)

...

Then we either pick with 22 and 28, or pick with 22 and move 28 back to a pick in the 30's and 40's, or we trade 22 and 28 to move up to about 11 or 12 and take Shinkauruk, Domi, that type of thing

@Fox25SportsThe #Bruins are reportedly discussing a deal w/ the Flames that would send Seguin to CGY, & the 6th draft choice + John Gaudreau to Boston.

The word "reportedly" seems to indicate that they are simply relaying something they've heard from yet another source. Gives credence to it just being a rumour.

I would rather see the Flames hold on to Gaudreau and see if the Bruins would be interested in prospects like Hanowski, Howse, Ferland, or Reinhart or roster players like Backlund, Horak, or Stempniak.

That said, #6 and Gaudreau is pretty fair value.

Would Cammy with 3mil retained salary be worth more than Gaudreau to the Bruins?

Especially considering the fact that they're cup contenders and they need to replace the hole left by Seguin and Horton somehow.

Holy ****. Yes I would do that. I'd like to think JG will sign here for sure but it's not for certain. It's also not a certainty that he'll play in the NHL. I think he will, and I think he'll do wel, but Seguin is a sure thing. Him and Sven are two excellent pieces to build around.

I'd do that. I'd even add in another 1st if Boston added their 2nd.

I personally wouldn't do this deal. Seguin may be a great player with potential but he has yet to prove much in the NHL. He also was rushed into the NHL in my mind and will not reach his previously thought potential. I'm not even sure he plays C anymore
We also need to develop our own prospects.

He's been moved to wing because the B's have Bergeron and Krejci. Seguin is a top 6 player and as such was moved to the wing. He would play center here and he's a franchise player.

Boy that would sure get the Taylor vs Tyler talks going again

Seguin was rushed less than Taylor Hall, and Hall appears to be on track skill-wise. I'm unfamiliar with how Seguin is character-wise.

Yet to prove much in the NHL?

His stats line from last year read: 29 goals and 67 points.
His stats line from this year read: 16 goals and 32 points. Pro-rated that's another 27 goal season.

And that is while playing on the 2nd line of the team that is not really wide open offensively. Put him 1st line on a Hartley coached team and watch out.

What about #6, Gaudreau, and another prospect (Hanowski, Howse, or Reinhart) for Seguin and the rights to Horton?

I wouldn't trade for Horton's rights. He has said he wants to test free agency, I would assume that includes if his rights are traded.

But if we did the only of those I would consider is Howse. He won't be signed next summer IMO unless he has some sort of break out year.
