What about a Ryan Murphy and 2nd rounder for Coburn?

I don't think the value is too far off there.

It's so awesome. I just drop a turd and watch them freak out about everything Flyers, and don't even bother replying.

Just a few gems I've read:

"14m is plenty to sign 9 players".

"He's only 26, he's at least 3 years away from entering his prime".

There's this British guy who keeps saying that averaging 1.5M per player for signing the rest of the roster isn't such a big deal (we're talking about 12/15 people, there'll be so much quality). I hope they extend MAF so bad...

We can't get the TSN app, but TSN radio is in the tunein radio app. Same thing, different app.

I still believe Bob winning that Vezina was a fluke and that's why CBJ is hesitant to give him that deal.

6 million is an awful lot to pay a goalie on his performance in a shortened season. Very risky. Doesn't surprise me they are shopping him with that price tag.

I wouldn't call it a fluke as much as luck and hell bent determination to prove something with a great deal of talent. I don't know if he is worth the 6 mill, it's high risk, someone will prob bite though.

I can see his point, Bob might be thinking "well Ilya got 10M last season"

A lot of CRAZY talk and rumors going on here, seems someone sends a tweet and folks immediately start the rumor mill going full tilt. The Pens can keep Letang, I have always thought he was severely overrated, and gets caught pinching like no other in the league in my view .
All this talk about trading Read is a bit much, he is certainly one of our best offensive guys and is worth the money in every way. Nothing like NHL draft day, especially with Homer, I love the overall gusto and balls he brings to the process........This is year 3 of the rebuild ( since Carter, Richards, etc). This will be a fair time to properly judge Homers body of work on whole....Like him or hate him, as a Flyers fan I always pull for him to get over on other GMs and the League ! This draft is so full of talent I truly see no reason to get crazy trying to Jockey to get a 4th or 5th over an 11th.............There will be GREAT players taken 20th, 30th etc in this draft ! Whole lot to go around this year.

$6 million for Bob is too much but he holds all the cards since the Russian team has offered $10 million. Mason would be pissed if the Flyers decided to go after him.

I'd also like to share the following information with SolidSnakeUS because two days ago, we agreed on the following: "Letang is ****ing stupid." However, that's not true. I've been told that it's just that he can be a complete dolt and do incredibly stupid, ill-conceived and inappropriate things.

So if any of you think Letang is stupid, defensively bad or has low hockey IQ, that's not the case. He's just a complete dolt.

Bob had two months of .945 goaltending. That's unsustainable. Columbus would be stupid to pay him based on a two month stretch that is quite obviously not going to be standard going forward.

Fortunately for Columbus, they have a strong management group. Good for Bob for looking to cash in now, though.

He may be an elite starter, but CBS should not proclaim him one yet until he proves it over a longer stretch.
