I'll be at the game and I wouldn't boo a guy that helped win us a Stanley Cup.

Those who do are retards...

It wasn't his fault Savard gave him SIXTEEN MILLION DOLLARS. Still makes me upset. I hated Brisebois as a player, but he did work hard through his back injuries and his size limitations, got to give him that. I wouldn't boo him. \

I always suspected he had inside connections and that Corey was involved in his contract somehow. No way did he deserve that contract. That was just disgusting.

I wouldn't either.
I will boo the guy who took a 16M contract with a NTC and then complained that Montreal fans are too hard on him and that he , in fact , didn't really enjoy playing here all the while refusing to waive his NTC.
I'll also be booing the guy who would never stand up for his teammates but claims the Habs had no team spirit.
Time permitting, I'll also be booing Theo.

Yes but then again, a crowd often takes on the IQ of its lowest constituant for some odd reason. So I expect lots of booing of both Theodore and Brisebois, even from fans who didn't intend on doing it to begin with.

I see him as a guy who loved the team and the city but always got the boobirds after him for mistakes on the ice.

The fact he still donates time and money to a hospital tells me he is a good, genuine, guy.

I won't boo.

When the Habs score, I'll chant "Theo Theo Theo!"

You nailed it for tomorrow, the only negative chant that will work for both him and Theo.

i'm not a habs fan, but i do think everyone who pays a ticket has the right to boo whoever the heck they want to boo. Some people take things WAY too seriously (including the actual hockey fans) and make it all a matter of "class" or whatever.. imo THAT is what's pathetic (the thin skinned fans who think everything is an assault on their integrity) lol

Still, i never understood why the habs fans boo Québecers and spare useless players that have gone through.. like Bulis, Zednik, Sundstrom, Kilger,etc..
I guess it IS a reflection of what Montréal is or has become.

Is it any worse than you sitting here day in day out ragging on Koivu, often about the contract he signed, or injuries, or etc etc etc.

Fans need to do whatever to help their team winning even if it's booing the others players like Brisebois or Théo...

Brisebois did something really nice for the hospital but this have nothing to do with hockey so if you are booing him and he makes a mistake that help us win go for it....

you need to separate the hockey player and the person here....

Personally, I never was a Brisebois fan, I always found him too soft and a bit of a chicken. However, as a person, he always took care of the unfortunate people around here and you can't knock that. So, I'll give him a huge kudos for that, but, I don't miss him at all in a Habs uniform.

I was always a Brisebois fan. I'll still boo him, though. The players know it's nothing personal, so it's not like they'll be in the locker room complaining that the crowd is too tough on them.

QFT

we're booing the hockey players, not the person.

those who complain about the booing are probably the same people who do crossword puzzles in the stands and complain that you're too loud
