Anaheim and Detroit

To Anaheim
Kindl or smith
Sheahan
18th overall
Ouellet

To Detroit
Ryan

Anaheim gets young prospects/defense that can step in right away/ cap relief

Detroit gets big power winger

So bad. You aren't getting Bobby without Nyqvist being in the deal. Don't see ANA-DET as good trading partners

Ducks don't want prospects.

We have a very good prospect pool and are not even close to cap hell. We could use a proper D-man, not some prospect or a #6. Bad deal.

If the Ducks aren't interested in prospects, what do they want? Why are they shopping Ryan?

We aren't shopping Ryan.

Edit: That's according to reputable sources.

We don't know that he's on the block. None of the people reporting that have good reps.

If he even is - to potentially make the team better. Good two-way defender (mainly on the defensive side) or good center and another addition could help the team be better than Ryan on his own. Prospects aren't our motive.

To be honest, I don't want Detroit to trade for Ryan. Too many assets needed, don't think he'll re-sign on Detroit.

I'd rather Detroit sign someone like Ryder, no assets, just a contract.
