Where were your seats? I hear downgrading is tough, is that why you didn't renew?

I was in sect 112 row 20, I told the rep I definitely wanted to downgrade and not keep the current seats. She told me not to renew and she would be in touch... after that I heard nothing until an e-mail on 6/26 for the appointment on 7/11. Let's see if there is anything upper bowl left then, if not, it's back to buying individual tickets

I'm looking at adding two more seats to my account, and my appointment for that is July 8. I would guess "new" subsribers (or those who dropped to downgrade) will come after the additional seats are complete, which is probably Wednesday.

Do you think given this past season the Rangers will renew at the same, lower, or higher rate?
Do you think tickets next season will be as high and in demand, and the sales will be as strong and the MSG atmosphere as good?

Is that using the same online program the upgrade process uses or is it via phone w a rep?

I have found these things tend to be affected less by team performance than by the quality of the economy. So I think renewals will be at the same or higher rate. And demand, same or higher.

The tone I got from your message was that you thought the Rangers' performance last season was poor, but truthfully it was not poor enough in my opinion to affect ticket sales.

Last season when I went in Feb the Garden was at its best, I hadn't seen a game that intense in years...and I saw Rangers Devils the season before.

My concern is how MSG will respond to the Rangers now that they have taken a step back from sure fire contender.
If this means fewer tickets sold, cheaper prices, and a subdued crowed.

Hey after missing in 2010 tickets went down.
After being a contender in 2012, demand and crowd atmosphere soared.

There are over 100,000 visitors to NYC every day. Even if the Rangers aren't great there are quite a few people interested in seeing a game at MSG. I don't think the average person has any sense that the Rangers have "taken a step back from sure fire contender." The team has gone to at least the 2nd round in the playoffs the past two years, has the world's greatest goalie and some high profile players. The beauty of sports is that even fans of bad teams are undefeated come opening day, and most Rangers fans would expect the team to compete again next season. Bottom line is the demand for tickets will remain high.

From the virtual viewer, the bridge does not seem as bad as we had feared. But this is just a computer rendering, I will hold back final judgement until I see the real thing.

Here is the supposed view from 223, row 19:

By the rendering, what is the highest row that can see the whole scoreboard?

Also, do they offer view from the bridge seats?

I haven't seen the option to see anything above 19, so hard to say.

They also haven't put the bridges into the seat selector, we don't even know what those section numbers are but I'm guessing they will just follow the West Balcony pattern around and through the Bud Deck

A pair just became available in Section 209, gallery row 2. Those are very good seats but IMO not a great value at $100/each

Row 1 or 2 isn't even valuable at all IMO, I am even surprised they even have them sold.

I disagree, especially in the corners where I've found that even going from row 4 to row 3 gives you a noticeably better view. It's less noticeable in the center sections

Well IMO those row 3 and 4's are the best values in the arena.

The renderings leave much speculation w/o the new scoreboard in place. The model shows the existing board....

Cheers!

4 rows lower is a decent upgrade. What section?
