Had a chance to listen. Very worth the while. Both you and the commentator were very high on this kid.

Did I hear the commentator say that Wennberg had signed to play in London next year? I would assume that would be London of the OHL on a team which has had 3 players taken in this season's first round already.

I suck...just guessing here.

I guess his projections for Hunter really were all over the board. Or maybe teams don't like his lack of size....DUnno.

They had Poirier in their top-10? Any wonder why they are struggling for futility in Calgary?

What?

THN had him at 47. Not sure where anyone else had him.

I really like the pace of this draft, things keep moving along! There are still several guys left on the board who would be very exciting to see in Union Blue, so I'm glad that #27 will be up much sooner than it would be in the NBA or NFL drafts.

Wennberg has signed to play for Frölunda in Sweden.

Rychel being compared to Kunitz. If true, I'd take that 9 times out of 10.

I feel bad for Shinkaruk. That's got to be miserable sitting there and not hearing your name and teams going off the board. It's one thing when it's a Russian when there's other reasons for a player to drop, but for a Canadian kids, that's gotta hurt.

There's got to be a reason, but some times players just drop because teams assume the problems must be bigger if the teams above them passed on him.

Can't hardly go wrong.

But like everyone can't figure Shinkaruk's fall. Is there something they know we don't?

Gotta think the Canucks like Hartman ... even more so after the Horvat pick.

Rychel's tough and has a great scoring touch, but he doesn't have Kunitz's motor or even half the heart. Hope Rychel grows up and decides he wants to be a complete player.

His dad was a tough player who had the motor and the heart.

His former teammate, Emerson Etem fell all the way to the bottom of the first round too. A lot of teams regret passing him up, I have a feeling this will be a similar result.
