I think its awesome. Have you seen the Kings official twitter? It's not a "classy" one but very popular. The best comment was about Fiddler and Roussel of the Stars being soft.

It's awesome. But it'll just be a matter of preference.

Are they erased? I just checked and nothing about the kings. He did pretty much say "**** you" to all of the Hawks minus Carcillo. And he called Fiddler and another Stars player soft. Pretty funny and should help that rivalry start off with a bang next season.

Funny how Carcillo is the biggest coward on the entire Hawks roster. I guess he and Clune are friends or something...

If Clune sticks around and grows his game more he is going to be a lot of fun to have around.

So with the departure of SK, does anyone think adding Hemsky a good idea? I do.

in a vacuum, yes... but in the cap world, I would have to see what taking on his $5mil for one year only would prevent us from getting

if he doesnt cost much in the way of assets to acquire, and his cap hit doesnt keep us from signing or trading for a player who is under contract for a longer stretch, then he'd be good to have...

We'd still be taking a $5M cap hit for a guy that will spend half the season on IR. Not worth the assets.

Poile to be GM of Team USA at Sochi

Shero will be his associate GM and Bylsma will coach.

Gonna be interesting to see if my national pride and desire to see poile succeed will overcome my distaste with the fact that Suter and Parise will probably be the captains of Team USA

In reseponse to Willy's chances of making the US Olympic team, Poile said that he would not be able to attend a US camp in August because of his shoulder rehab. I saw a pic last week and his arm is still in a sling. Is he going to be ready for the the season opener in October?? Even if he plays in Sept/Oct, how weak will his shoulder be after having it immobilized so long? Pekka had hip surgery, and he was bearing weight within a few weeks. Willy's shoulder after 6 or 7 weeks is still immobilized. We need an orthopedic on this board to explain the severity of the proceedures so I stop freaking out!!

After drafting Jones, do we still think Ekholm still makes the team?

If so we have the best size on the blueline we've ever had.

Weber, Jones and Ekholm are all good sized defensemen, ironically all are good scorers too.

I think if Jones can play top 4 minutes, Ekholm would be a great addition to the third pair.

There's no way Ellis is moving to the 2nd line to play with Josi, none. There's also no way Klein is dropping to the 3rd line.

Here's mine.

Weber-Josi
Klein-Jones
Ekholm-Bartley

Ellis is traded or plays as the 7th in a rotation with Ekholm.
