No pressure kid. You just got to be, you know, the hometown messiah to the most passionate hockey fans in North America.

Nice!! Like him or not, Fucale is a steal at 36. Love this pick. Head and shoulders above any other goalie in the draft. Very excited, and im a huge Price fan.

I'm never a fan of drafting goalies in the first two rounds (just not necessary - very good goalies can be drafted later) but at 36 Fucale is quite a steal. To say nothing of the fact that if we let a hometown kid with his pedigree slip away at number 36 you can be damn well sure we'd hear about it for years to come.

Well, this has no impact on Price anytime soon. I know the Price haters are celebrating, but Fucale isn't anywhere close to NHL level and won't be for quite a while.

Love this pick more than the first two, someone who will be able to push Price in a few years with any luck.

I've watched this kid for 2 years....he is solid calm, technically sound. But athletic too. You can see a little Price, mixed in with Brodeur.

He will be a quality NHL starter

Guys, this pick has nothing to do with Price. We literally have no goalies in our system. I was scared that we were going to draft him in the first round but at 36, it's a good pick. I'm happy.

I was yelling at the TV when he was available with the first 2nd round pick, I think my Wife thought I had a stroke when he was passed on. Needless to say I'm very happy. Hopefully he continues his development and we see him in the NHL in 4 - 6 years.

Great pick. Picking up the consensus #1 goalie in the draft with a second rounder is hard to see as a bad thing, IMO. The org needed a legit prospect at G. Now they have one.

Comparing Carey Price to Tom Brady. No way.

Button was saying on TSN, two days ago, that Fucale was the best young goalies he saw in years.
He was comparing him to Brodeur and Lundqvist.

We will need to wait a few years to see his progression.

Edit:
I got one:
http://video.tsn.ca/?dl=nhl-latest/l...-latest/latest
But his best comments about Fucale are in another clip.

Amazingly well-spoken, humble and confident dude. Great interview with James Duthie. Hope this goes on TSN's website

Great! He was projected to be a lot higher so that's a great pick for us. Plus we had nothing in the system so this is a really good pick for us.

Thing that sticks out the most from the prospect page:

In 2011-12, he was selected as Halifax’s Top Rookie, Academic Player of the Year and co-MVP (alongside fellow prospect Nathan McKinnon) as well as named the Fans’ Choice. With 32 wins in his first year, he also was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team.
