Canadian Anthony Bennett goes 1st overall in NBA Draft
another Canadian, Andrew Wiggins, is expected to go first overall next year.
We takin over lol

Obviously that makes Bennett the highest ever drafted Canadian

Kelly Olynyk went 13th too. It's crazy... Myck Kabongo should get drafted too IMO.

What I find extremely odd is how I heard so much about Wiggins, but nothing about Bennett. Don't get me wrong on don't go out of my way to find out about the NBA draft, but gregor was pumping Wiggins up not that long ago to the point where I thought geez heres a guy that can be the first ever 1st overall Canadian. No mention of Bennett though.

Yeah, it was odd that Wiggins has been getting the hype train going for quite awhile now. I am a big follower of the NCAAB, so I did have Bennett on the radar, but to be a #1 pick? Nope. He did have a great Freshman year in UNLV though. I still don't know how he'll do though. Undersized PF, but slow for a SF. I guess he still has some work to do this summer.

This draft is much like the 2001 and 2006 drafts where the #1 pick wasn't a consensus all around. These were the years where Kwame Brown and Andrea Bargnani were #1 picks.

He was a top 3 pick, he reminds me of Zach Randolph. Nice decent sized PF. I was astonished by the trades that happened though.

Anyone know any doctors in the city taking patients?

Apparently I need a referral from a family doctor to see a specialist about my shoulder.

Rexall Drug Store

Bought some kids polysporin at Rexall drugstore today. Used it right away on my 3 year old daughter in the car. When we came home and looked at it a little closer we noticed on the box the product expired Feb 2013. First thing is we freaked out that her leg doesn't get infected. Went to a another pharmacy and they said just clean it off right away. Sorry just wanted to rant how a pharmacy can sell expired kids products, which could turn dangerous. Just look at expiry dates before using. Screw you Rexall for giving me a heartache.

Pretty sure polysporin has silver in it so don't think she could get infected expired or not.

Just look at expiry dates before giving your kids any sort of medication. If you have kids you will
understand how you freak out. There is a reason there is expiry dates on products, you never know what will happen. Going there tomorrow to *****.

Clearly this is just another sign of inept management. Fire MacT!!

On a serious note though hope she's okay. I've gotten expired stuff from several stores before. At the end of the day you always gotta check them dates.

Nothing wrong with the ointment, it just loses a little effectiveness after the "best before" date. Relax.

This silver nitrate in ointment would not allow for any bacteria growth in ointment.

I'm not one to complain about celebrations, but the words "for **** sakes" came to mind when I finally feel asleep in the 33 degree house only to be awaken by Canada Day fireworks

Heater goes through my room so it felt much hotter than it was in there last night. Fireworks kept me up as well and I was nearly late for work this morning.

The Jays are almost worth paying attention to.
Almost, but not quite......for me, anyways.
Good on them for their current winning streak though.
