I could see the Bruins floating him an offer.

If Iginla end up in Kadri that could be a big distraction in the room.

No word on Jagr or Iginla, usually not like the media to let those two fly under the radar like this

There is an undying love for Iginla in Vancouver. He would instantly become Vancouver's favorite player. Gillis is not afraid of elderly players, he is moving heaven and earth to retain the Sedins and he just snatched Luongo back from certain departure!

Vancouver's top six would become:
Burrows Kesler Hansen
Sedin Sedin Iginla

Given Letang's contract, seems unlikely he'll be back in Pittsburgh. Guessing he comes back out West, to a team no one expected like Dallas or St. Louis.

0% chance. Even with Ballard gone there is only enough to sign what we have and bring in a ELC or two. We can't buyout an injured Booth. Iggy isn't coming to Van unless we deal NTCs or deal Booth, even then I can't see Iggy taking the <$4.5m Van would have to offer.

He'll sign at a discounted rate with someone in hopes of winning a cup, I figure.

Bruins, Penguins, Hawks, Canucks or Kings. I imagine he'd be happy with either of those teams. I figure Canucks would be the odd team out there.

With it starting to look more like Dupuis is leaving, I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed in Pittsburgh.

Would not shock me at all to see him end up in Vancouver. He'd look pretty good on the Sedin line allowing us to roll with a 2nd line of Booth-Kesler-Burrows.

i think, in order, the teams with the best chances are LA, Vancouver, and Pittsburgh (but i doubt he returns to Pittsburgh)

Where does he make home?

If there was a stein contender that is close enough to home and his family then that's probably the safe bet. But if say Boston, Philly (they are never out of anything), Anahiem, Detroit or San Jose

If I were forced to make a guess I would say The Ducks but secretly feel it was the Wings and say I told you so the whole time

That would be a miracle if we could fit him under the cap. We are going to have somewhere around $2 million ($3m max) when we sign the rest of the RFA's. Hard to imagine Dean breaking up any aspect of the team to fit him in.

Maths says no. After the Ballard buyout

[Sedin Sedin Kassian] [Booth Kesler Burrows] [Higgins Schroeder Hansen] [XXXXX XXXXX Wiese] [Sestito]

[Edler Garrison] [Hamhuis Bieksa] [Corrado Tanev] [XXXXX XXXXX]

[Luongo Lack]

4 players, albeit ELCs/plugs to fit into $4,545,722. Iginla is not happening with Booth here, probably not even if he isn't and Iggy wants $5.5m+.

I could see him doing what Weight did - go back to his parent club awaiting his next destination on a playoff squad at the deadline.

In the most awkward signing of the summer, Iginla will sign with Boston.
