Undrafted players

Any players that were not selected that you think the Habs should look at or offer a tryout? A few that come to mind for me:

Stephen Harper
Etchegary
Evan Allan
Doetzel
Avery Peterson

According to RDS, 6 players.

Il s’agit des gardiens Philippe Cadorette (Baie-Comeau) et Louis-Philip Guindon (Drummondville), des défenseurs Matt Murphy (Halifax) et Maxime Gravel (Rimouski), ainsi que des attaquants Jean-Sébastien Dea (Rouyn-Noranda) et Peter Trainor (Rimouski)

Thanks. Anybody have anything to say about these kids? I'd be interested in hearing it.

What about Sergei Tolchinsky? He's small (5'9" 160) but he's skilled and a good skater.

Sergei Tolchinsky shoukd get a look. Very surprised he wasnt drafted. He is small, but highly skilled. This year should be a breakout year for him in junior. Ive seen him olay, worth a shot no question.

Just realized Betzgold wasn't chosen yesterday.... Was worth at least a 7th rounder...Hoping to see him being invited....but seems the Leafs might have done it already...

Mark Edwards ‏@MarkEdwardsHP 2m

Just got a text, Greg Betzold is going to #Blues Dev camp and Traverse City tourney. Happy for him. Deserved to be drafted IMO.

I wonder how embarrassed Harper feels that Crisp was drafted and he wasn't. If that doesn't wake him up, nothing will (besides maybe oil pipelines).

Charlie Graham would be another solid goalie spec. That can vouch for him too

I never understood why Harper was ranked as high as he was for so long...in my viewings he never brought anything to the table.

Hope we Sign Murphy to a Try out. He seems like a good player to have down in Hamilton. Annnndddd he has my last name so of course he is that much better than everyone else

Matt Murphy isn't that great. Or at least he wasn't when I saw him the dozen-or-so times that I did lol.

More elaboration is needed with this.

He's a tremendous athlete that has a lot of pro calibre tools, but he doesn't look to have it between the ears yet. Kid is a big body that throws his weight around and is an excellent skater. I was shocked to see him not get picked, even late. He's a project, but to go undrafted... wow.

Glad to here he is at least getting a look, and with Montreal!
