I can't figure out if the Montreal drivers are the worst or the best. Because the streets are chaos, I imagine it would be similar to New Delhi. There are no lanes/lines, only place I am scared to drive. Take a taxi. Actually San Fran is nuts too.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
==discussion==
Temperatures are forecast to rise into the low to mid thirties for
much of Central and Southern Alberta on Tuesday. Elevated humidity
levels will combine with the high temperatures to give humidex
Values of 40.

This will make for very uncomfortable conditions. It is advised to
stay in an air conditioned place or seek shade when possible, drink
plenty of water and limit outdoor physical activity.

The heat and humidity are expected to end Tuesday evening as a
Cold front sweeps through the province. This cold front will also
bring strong thunderstorms to much of the central and northern parts
of the province, with strong winds possible behind the front in the
central and southeastern parts of the province tomorrow evening and
overnight.

This is an advisory that high humidex values are expected in these
regions. Monitor weather conditions and listen for updated
statements.

So basically we're in for really hot, then really wet. Hopefully no more flooding or tornados this time around.

For what it's worth, Josh Classen tweeted out to a "warning" to expect "monster" storms to roll in. Though, he hasn't clarified exactly what that means. So, be prepared I guess?

That near 40 is going to be just awful. My apartment is a sauna already. Ugh.

These storms shouldn't be that serious since the Cold Front isn't expected to going through the Edmonton region until the 'late' evening hours.

I'm huddled in my dark basement trying to keep cool. I'll remember this time in January when I'm complaining about it being too cold...

I wouldn't mind a big storm tonight like they're warning about. (No tornadoes though please)

I still prefer the cold as you can adjust for it. I start walking around naked this afternoon I'll be in trouble.

with these temps, I figured something like this would happen.

I'm walking to work, so hopefully it doesn't start till I get there.

anything plus 25 and over results in storms in this region
