OT: Habs players love the south shore

Today, 2:00 PM (Roughly): I'm in a car with 3 other buddies of mine, and we're leaving the parking lot of Place Portobello in Brossard...my brother sees a Black Cadillac beside us and we start talking about the Cadillac...then I look at the driver...none other than Chris Higgins (unless his brother Kevin is nearly identical). It had a NY plate on it...and I think his gf was with him (she's cute...a friend of mine tried to make eye contact with her, but it didn't work). I'm not sure why he was going to Place Portobello, but he was there.

Today, 2:30 PM: We leave from a soccer goods store (Evangelista) on Taschereau, get in the car, get back on the road...stop at a red light. Who's beside us? Chris Higgins driving a black Cadillac...again.

Today, 3:00 PM: We're at Mail Champlain killing time on a cloudy Sunday afternoon. We walk into a store (Zara). We see a big guy wearing a green sweater with the hood on...who is it? Notre héro national: Guillaume Latendresse.

Guillaume Latendresse, I'm OK with...he is a local guy from Ste-Catherine on the Shore...going to Mail Champlain isn't anything out of the ordinary. But Chris Higgins at Place Portobello in Brossard??? Now that's unlikely...

Maybe he mist the last exit to go the l'Ile des Soeurs to see Koivu or Rivet and was forced to make a U-turn in Brossard......... in a La Presse article 2 weeks ago, Higgins said he bought a condo on Clark on Le Plateau Mont-Royal.

Brossard ain't that far from Montreal proper. It's pretty Chinese though.

I thought somebody had seen an Hab somewhere deeper on the shore...like in Sorel.

Theodore was at the Hells Angels Fortress, though. Well documented and shot in pictures and everything.

Geez, my Dad was brought up on Clark, and Higgins is his current favorite. I'll let him know. I'm sure there's some symbolism there.

I don't want to impress... but I get to see every hab player in my backyard, every year! Even the press is invited. True story.

Do they go to your backyard willingly or are they bound and gagged?

Nice, I'm living in Brossard (I don't like the city... I've always lived here )... I never saw any habs player on the south shore but I did saw Chris Higgins last year downtown at the eaton center (downstairs in the restaurants area)

Uhh okay but I'm Vietnamese and I know tons of people there! Lol.

Seriously though, Brossard have a gigantic Vietnamese community evidenced by the Lien Hoa Pagoda. I'm not saying there isn't a sizeable Chinese presence evidenced by the number of restaurants but Brossard is new the V-Town after CDN.

To the OP, I seriously think Chris Higgins and his girlfriend might be following you around. That's just too many coincidences. Freaking superstars keep on stalking regular folks! I'm sick of it.

My fiancee is chinese, and one of the first things she noticed is how many asian people live here. it's pretty cool to have such a diverse population.
